విముక్తి

69 రోజులుగా భూగర్భంలో చిక్కుకున్న 33 మంది చిలీ దేశంలో మైన్ లో పనిచేసే వారు రక్షించబడ్డారు. వీరిని రక్షించడాన్ని ప్రపంచమంతా చూసింది. చివరి వ్యక్తి మాత్రం గురువారం, అక్టోబర్ 14, 2010న క్షేమంగా బయటకు తీసుకొని రాగలిగారు. ఆ రోజు ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా వేడుకలతో ఆనందంతో గుర్తించబడింది. చిలీ ఎప్పటికీ ఒకేలా ఉండదని చిలీ అధ్యక్షుడు కూడా అన్నారు.

శాస్త్రవేత్తలు మరియు ఇంజనీర్లు చిక్కుకుపోయిన వ్యక్తులను, అర మైలు దూరంలో ఒక ఎస్కేప్ రంధ్రం రూపకల్పన చేసి,  ఆ భాగాన్ని లోతుగా త్రావ్వడానికి పగలు రాత్రి శ్రమించారు. 69 రోజుల తరువాత ఒక్కొక్కరిని రక్షించేందుకు 50 నిమిషాలు పట్టింది. ఒక వార్తాపత్రికలో “నరకం నుండి నిరీక్షణకు విముక్తి” అని పెద్దక్షరాలతో కూడా విడుదల చేశారు.

రక్షించబడిన వారిలో ఒకరు “నేను దేవునితో ఉన్నాను, నేను సాతానుతో ఉన్నాను. వారు పోరాడారు. అయతే, దేవుడు యుద్ధంలో గెలిచాడు. నేను చేయి చాచి దేవుని చెయ్యి పట్టుకున్నాను. నేను రక్షించబడతానని నేను ఎప్పుడూ ఊహించలేదు” అని తన సాక్ష్యాన్ని ప్రపంచానికి తెలియజేశాడు. వీరి భద్రత కొరకు ప్రార్ధిస్తున్న బంధువులు, స్నేహితులు, అగ్నిపరీక్షవంటి ఆ సమయంలో దేవుని కాపుదలను కళ్ళారా వీక్షించిన వారంతా క్రీస్తుకు తమ జీవితాలను సమర్పించుకున్నారు.

యోహాను 3:16 - దేవుడు లోకమును ఎంతో ప్రేమించెను. కాగా ఆయన తన అద్వితీయకుమారునిగా పుట్టిన వానియందు విశ్వాసముంచు ప్రతివాడును నశింపక నిత్యజీవము పొందునట్లు ఆయనను అనుగ్రహించెను.

మన పాపాల శిక్ష నుండి మనలను రక్షించడానికే యేసు తాను చేయగలిగినదంతా చేసాడు. ఆయన ఇక చేయవలసింది ఏమీ లేదు, ఇప్పుడు మన హృదయాలలోని విశ్వాసానికి ప్రతిస్పందించి, క్రీస్తును మన వ్యక్తిగత రక్షకునిగా స్వీకరించామా అనే విషయంలో ఇప్పుడు మనకు ఒక ఎంపిక మాత్రమే మిగిలి ఉంది. ఈ నిర్ణయం మీకే వదిలేస్తున్నాను. ఆమెన్.

FREED FROM HELL TO HOPE

The world watched as 33 Chilean miners trapped underground for 69 days were rescued. The last miner was rescued on Thursday October 14, 2010, a day marked with celebration and joy all around the world. The President of Chile said that Chile will never be the same.

Scientists and engineers worked day and night to design and drill an escape hole half a mile down to the trapped miners. 69 days later, they lowered a capsule from camp down to the men. It took 50 minutes to rescue each man. One newspaper headline read “FREED FROM HELL TO HOPE”. 

One of the rescued men said “I was with God, and I was with the devil. They fought and God won the battle. I reached out and took hold of God’s hand. I never doubted that I would be rescued.” According to one article several men and their loved ones gave their lives to Christ during the ordeal as they prayed and reached out for God’s help.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Jesus has done everything He could do to save us from the penalty of our sin. There is nothing left for Him to do, but we are now left with only a choice as to whether we respond to the conviction in our heart and receive Christ as our personal Saviour.
