ఆతిథ్యమిచ్చు తలంపులు:
రోమా 12:13 - "పరిశుద్ధుల అవసరములలో పాలుపొందుచు, శ్రద్ధగా ఆతిథ్యము ఇచ్చుచుండుడి.
దేవుడు మనయెడల ఉద్దేశించని శ్రమలలో ఆతిధ్యం అందించడానికి సాధ్యాసాధ్యాలను సరిచేసుకోవడం సుళువే. కానీ మన పొరుగువానికి ఆతిథ్యమివ్వడంలో సమయస్పూర్తిని పరీక్షంచడమే దేవుని ఉద్దేశ్యం. మన పొరుగువాడు ఆపదలో ఉన్నప్పుడో, గాయపడినప్పుడో, బాధల్లో ఉన్నప్పుడో మనము ఆతిథ్యాన్ని ఇవ్వగలమా? మంచి సమరయునిగా ఉండడమంటే నిస్వార్థంగా మనకున్న శ్రేష్ఠమైనవాటిని వెనుకకు తీయకుండా ఆపదలో ఉన్న వారికి సహాయము చేయడం. నీవు చేయగలిగే స్థితిలో ఉండి చేయడం కాదు నీవు లేమిలో ఉన్నప్పుడు కూడా సహాయము చేయగలగడమే నిజమైన ఆతిథ్యం. బీదలను కనికరించడం, లేనివారికి దానమివ్వడం, ఆకలిదప్పులు గలవారికి ఆహారమందించడం, సహాయం కోరుచున్నవారికి సహాయమునివ్వడం ఇవన్నీ దేవునికి సహాయం చేయడంలాంటివే. సహాయము చేసే గుణమును, ఆతిథ్యమిచ్చు హృదయాన్ని కలిగియుండడం దేవునికి మనలను చేరువ చేస్తాయి.
ప్రార్థనా మనవి:
పరలోకమందున్న తండ్రి!!! పొరుగువాని అవసరాలను తీర్చి వారికి సహాయము చేయగలిగే శక్తిని నాకు అనుగ్రహించుము. నీ జీవితంలో నీవు కొఱకు ఎక్కువ భాగాన్ని కలిగియుండుటకు సహాయం చేయుమని యేసునామములో ప్రార్థించుచున్నాము పరమతండ్రి, ఆమేన్.
Hospitable Thoughts:
Romans 12:13 - “distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.” We all too easily clutter up the possibilities for hospitality with obstacles God never intends for us. Jesus’ point is that hospitality is tested in the spontaneous need of our neighbor. When they are tired, sick, wounded, or stressed, are we willing to make room? At its heart, Christian hospitality is simply making space for another, not having the nicest things for ourselves too. In short, hospitality is not doing something when you can afford, it""s doing the needful when we can""t afford too. If we have willingness, time, and space, we can be hospitable. And if we are simply willing, we will find the time and the space. If that sounds small, it’s because it is. Being hospitable is NOT about us (the host). We need to be more available to God, because suddenly being hospitable is about God and another person, not about us.
Talk to The King:
Father God, help me be hospitable according to needs of people and not according to my available resources. Help me make more space for You in my life. In Jesus name, Amen.
