1. ఆలకించుడి ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా పోషణమును పోషణాధారమును అన్నోదకముల ఆధారమంతయు పోషణమంతయు

1. For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the rod and the staff, the whole support of bread, and the whole support of water,

2. శూరులను యోధులను న్యాయాధిపతులను ప్రవక్తలను

2. The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient,

3. సోదెకాండ్రను పెద్దలను పంచాదశాధిపతులను ఘనత వహించినవారిని మంత్రులను శిల్పశాస్త్రములను ఎరిగినవారిని మాంత్రికులను యెరూషలేములోనుండియు యూదాదేశములో నుండియు తీసివేయును.

3. The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the skilful craftsman, and the eloquent orator.

4. బాలకులను వారికి అధిపతులనుగా నియమించెదను వారు బాలచేష్టలుచేసి జనులను ఏలెదరు.

4. And I will give children [to be] their princes, and babes shall rule over them.

5. ప్రజలలో ఒకడిట్లును మరియొకడట్లును ప్రతివాడు తన పొరుగువానిని ఒత్తుడు చేయును. పెద్దవానిపైని బాలుడును ఘనునిపైని నీచుడును గర్వించి తిరస్కారముగా నడుచును.

5. And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the elder, and the base against the honourable.

6. ఒకడు తన తండ్రియింట తన సహోదరుని పట్టుకొని నీకు వస్త్రము కలదు నీవు మామీద అధిపతివై యుందువు ఈ పాడుస్థలము నీ వశముండనిమ్మనును

6. When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father, [saying], Thou hast clothing, be thou our ruler, and [let] this ruin [be] under thy hand:

7. అతడు ఆ దినమున కేకవేసినేను సంరక్షణ కర్తనుగా ఉండనొల్లను నాయింట ఆహారమేమియు లేదు వస్త్రమేమియు లేదు నన్ను జనాధిపతిగా నియమింపరాదనును.

7. In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house [is] neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.

8. యెరూషలేము పాడైపోయెను యూదా నాశనమాయెను యెహోవా మహిమగల దృష్టికి తిరుగుబాటు చేయునంతగా వారి మాటలును క్రియలును ఆయనకు ప్రతికూలముగా ఉన్నవి.

8. For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings [are] against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.

9. వారి ముఖలక్షణమే వారిమీద సాక్ష్యమిచ్చును. తమ పాపమును మరుగుచేయక సొదొమవారివలె దాని బయలుపరచుదురు. తమకు తామే వారు కీడు చేసికొనియున్నారు వారికి శ్రమ

9. The show of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide [it] not. Woe to their soul! for they have rewarded evil to themselves.

10. మీకు మేలు కలుగునని నీతిమంతులతో చెప్పుము వారు తమ క్రియల ఫలము అనుభవింతురు.

10. Say ye to the righteous, that [it shall be] well [with him]: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings.

11. దుష్టులకు శ్రమ, వారి క్రియల ఫలము వారికి కలుగును.

11. Woe to the wicked! [it shall be] ill [with him]: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

12. నా ప్రజలవిషయమై నేనేమందును? బాలురు వారిని బాధపెట్టుచున్నారు స్త్రీలు వారిని ఏలుచున్నారు. నా ప్రజలారా, మీ నాయకులు త్రోవను తప్పించువారు

12. [As for] my people, children [are] their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they who lead thee cause [thee] to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.

13. వారు నీ త్రోవల జాడను చెరిపివేయుదురు. యెహోవా వాదించుటకు నిలువబడియున్నాడు జనములను విమర్శించుటకు లేచియున్నాడు

13. The LORD standeth up to plead, and standeth to judge the people.

14. యెహోవా తన జనుల పెద్దలను వారి యధిపతులను విమర్శింప వచ్చుచున్నాడు. మీరే ద్రాక్షలతోటను తినివేసితిరి మీరు దోచుకొనిన దరిద్రుల సొమ్ము మీ యిండ్లలోనే యున్నది

14. The LORD will enter into judgment with the elders of his people, and with their princes: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor [is] in your houses.

15. నా ప్రజలను నలుగగొట్టి మీరేమి చేయుదురు? బీదల ముఖములను నూరి మీరేమి చేయుదురు? అని ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

15. What mean ye [that] ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

16. మరియు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినదేదనగా సీయోను కుమార్తెలు గర్విష్ఠురాండ్రై మెడచాచి నడచుచు ఓర చూపులు చూచుచు కులుకుతో నడచుచు, తమ కాళ్లగజ్జలను మ్రోగించుచున్నారు;

16. Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and walk with extended necks and wanton eyes, walking and mincing [as] they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:

17. కాబట్టి ప్రభువు సీయోను కుమార్తెల నడినెత్తి బోడిచేయును యెహోవా వారి మానమును బయలుపరచును.

17. Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will uncover their secret parts.

18. ఆ దినమున యెహోవా గల్లుగల్లుమను వారి పాద భూషణములను సూర్యబింబ భూషణములను చంద్రవంకలను భూషణములను

18. In that day the Lord will take away the show of [their] tinkling anklets, and [their] scarves, and [their] necklaces like the moon,

19. కర్ణభూషణములను కడియములను నాణమైన ముసుకులను

19. The pendant, and the bracelets, and the veils,

20. కుల్లాయీలను కాళ్ల గొలుసులను ఒడ్డాణములను పరిమళ ద్రవ్యపు బరిణలను

20. The headdresses, and the leg ornaments, and the headbands, and the perfume bottles, and the charms,

21. రక్షరేకులను ఉంగరములను ముక్కు కమ్ములను

21. The rings, and nose jewels,

22. ఉత్సవ వస్త్రములను ఉత్తరీయములను పైటలను సంచులను

22. The fine robes, and the mantles, and the outer garments, and the purses,

23. చేతి అద్దములను సన్నపునారతో చేసిన ముసుకులను పాగాలను శాలువులను తీసివేయును.

23. The mirrors, and the fine linen, and the turbans, and the veils.

24. అప్పుడు పరిమళ ద్రవ్యమునకు ప్రతిగా మురుగుడును నడికట్టుకు ప్రతిగా త్రాడును అల్లిన జడకు ప్రతిగా బోడితలయు ప్రశస్తమైన పైవస్త్రమునకు ప్రతిగా గోనెపట్టయు అందమునకు ప్రతిగా వాతయును ఉండును.

24. And it shall come to pass, [that] instead of sweet smell there shall be a foul odour; and instead of a belt a rope; and instead of well set hair baldness; and instead of a rich robe a girding of sackcloth; [and] a brand instead of beauty.

25. ఖడ్గముచేత మనుష్యులు కూలుదురు యుద్ధమున నీ బలాఢ్యులు పడుదురు

25. Thy men shall fall by the sword, and thy mighty in the war.

26. పట్టణపు గుమ్మములు బాధపడి దుఃఖించును ఆమె ఏమియు లేనిదై నేల కూర్చుండును.

26. And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she [being] desolate shall sit upon the ground.
