1. ఆలకించుడి ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా పోషణమును పోషణాధారమును అన్నోదకముల ఆధారమంతయు పోషణమంతయు

1. For lo! the Lord, Yahweh of hosts, removing from Jerusalem and from Judah, The stay and staff, The whole stay of bread, And the whole stay of water:

2. శూరులను యోధులను న్యాయాధిపతులను ప్రవక్తలను

2. Man of might and man of war, Judge and prophet And diviner and elder;

3. సోదెకాండ్రను పెద్దలను పంచాదశాధిపతులను ఘనత వహించినవారిని మంత్రులను శిల్పశాస్త్రములను ఎరిగినవారిని మాంత్రికులను యెరూషలేములోనుండియు యూదాదేశములో నుండియు తీసివేయును.

3. Captain of fifty, and favourite; And counsellor and skilled artificer, And master of magical formulas;

4. బాలకులను వారికి అధిపతులనుగా నియమించెదను వారు బాలచేష్టలుచేసి జనులను ఏలెదరు.

4. And I will appoint boys to be their princes, And, petulant children, shall rule over them,

5. And the people will, tyrannise, Every man over his fellow-man, And every man over his friend, And they will rage The boy against, the elder, And the despised, against, the honourable,

6. ఒకడు తన తండ్రియింట తన సహోదరుని పట్టుకొని నీకు వస్త్రము కలదు నీవు మామీద అధిపతివై యుందువు ఈ పాడుస్థలము నీ వశముండనిమ్మనును

6. When a man shall lay hold, on his brother of the house of his father, saying Clothing, hast thou, Become thou our, ruler, This downfall, be under thy hand,

7. అతడు ఆ దినమున కేకవేసినేను సంరక్షణ కర్తనుగా ఉండనొల్లను నాయింట ఆహారమేమియు లేదు వస్త్రమేమియు లేదు నన్ను జనాధిపతిగా నియమింపరాదనును.

7. He will swear, in that day, saying I will take no control, When in mine own house, is neither food nor clothing, Ye must not set me for a ruler of people!

8. యెరూషలేము పాడైపోయెను యూదా నాశనమాయెను యెహోవా మహిమగల దృష్టికి తిరుగుబాటు చేయునంతగా వారి మాటలును క్రియలును ఆయనకు ప్రతికూలముగా ఉన్నవి.

8. For stumbled bath Jerusalem, and, Judah, hath fallen, Because, their tongue and their doings, are against Yahweh, Provoking his glorious presence,

9. వారి ముఖలక్షణమే వారిమీద సాక్ష్యమిచ్చును. తమ పాపమును మరుగుచేయక సొదొమవారివలె దాని బయలుపరచుదురు. తమకు తామే వారు కీడు చేసికొనియున్నారు వారికి శ్రమ

9. The show of their face, hath answered against them, And their sin like Sodom, have they told, they have not concealed it. Alas for their souls! For they have requited to themselves, calamity.

10. మీకు మేలు కలుగునని నీతిమంతులతో చెప్పుము వారు తమ క్రియల ఫలము అనుభవింతురు.

10. Say ye to the righteous It is well! For the fruit of their doings, shall they eat:

11. దుష్టులకు శ్రమ, వారి క్రియల ఫలము వారికి కలుగును.

11. Alas! for the lawless, it is ill, For what his own hand hath matured, shall he done to him.

12. నా ప్రజలవిషయమై నేనేమందును? బాలురు వారిని బాధపెట్టుచున్నారు స్త్రీలు వారిని ఏలుచున్నారు. నా ప్రజలారా, మీ నాయకులు త్రోవను తప్పించువారు

12. My people! children, are their tyrants, And, women, rule over them, My people! they who should lead thee forward, are causing thee to stray, Thy pathways, have they destroyed,

13. వారు నీ త్రోవల జాడను చెరిపివేయుదురు. యెహోవా వాదించుటకు నిలువబడియున్నాడు జనములను విమర్శించుటకు లేచియున్నాడు

13. Yahweh hath taken his station to plead, And is standing to judge peoples:

14. యెహోవా తన జనుల పెద్దలను వారి యధిపతులను విమర్శింప వచ్చుచున్నాడు. మీరే ద్రాక్షలతోటను తినివేసితిరి మీరు దోచుకొనిన దరిద్రుల సొమ్ము మీ యిండ్లలోనే యున్నది

14. Yahweh, into judgment, will enter, With the elders of his people And their princes, But ye, have consumed the vineyard, That which hath been robbed from the oppressed, is in your houses.

15. నా ప్రజలను నలుగగొట్టి మీరేమి చేయుదురు? బీదల ముఖములను నూరి మీరేమి చేయుదురు? అని ప్రభువును సైన్యములకధిపతియునగు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు.

15. What right have ye to crush my people, And the faces of the oppressed, to grind? Demandeth My Lord Yahweh of hosts And Yahweh saith

16. మరియు యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినదేదనగా సీయోను కుమార్తెలు గర్విష్ఠురాండ్రై మెడచాచి నడచుచు ఓర చూపులు చూచుచు కులుకుతో నడచుచు, తమ కాళ్లగజ్జలను మ్రోగించుచున్నారు;

16. Because haughty are the daughters of Zion, And they walk with neck thrown back, and wanton eyes, Tripping along as they go, And with their feet, making, a tinkling sound,

17. కాబట్టి ప్రభువు సీయోను కుమార్తెల నడినెత్తి బోడిచేయును యెహోవా వారి మానమును బయలుపరచును.

17. Therefore will My Lord, smite with leprosy the crown of hair of the daughters of Zion, And, as for Yahweh, their shame, will he lay bare!

18. ఆ దినమున యెహోవా గల్లుగల్లుమను వారి పాద భూషణములను సూర్యబింబ భూషణములను చంద్రవంకలను భూషణములను

18. In that day, will My Lord remove the finery of the anklets, and the little suns and the little moons;

19. కర్ణభూషణములను కడియములను నాణమైన ముసుకులను

19. the pendants and the bracelets and the veils;

20. కుల్లాయీలను కాళ్ల గొలుసులను ఒడ్డాణములను పరిమళ ద్రవ్యపు బరిణలను

20. the chaplets and the armlets and the girdles, and the scent-cases, and the amulets;

21. రక్షరేకులను ఉంగరములను ముక్కు కమ్ములను

21. the rings and the nose-jewels;

22. ఉత్సవ వస్త్రములను ఉత్తరీయములను పైటలను సంచులను

22. the robes, and the over-tunics, and the cloaks and the purses;

23. చేతి అద్దములను సన్నపునారతో చేసిన ముసుకులను పాగాలను శాలువులను తీసివేయును.

23. and the mirrors and the linen wraps, and the tiaras and the cloaks.

24. అప్పుడు పరిమళ ద్రవ్యమునకు ప్రతిగా మురుగుడును నడికట్టుకు ప్రతిగా త్రాడును అల్లిన జడకు ప్రతిగా బోడితలయు ప్రశస్తమైన పైవస్త్రమునకు ప్రతిగా గోనెపట్టయు అందమునకు ప్రతిగా వాతయును ఉండును.

24. And it shall come to pass That instead of fragrance, a putrid odour, shall be, And instead of a girdle, an encircling rope, And instead of braided hair, baldness, And instead of a festal robe, a girding of sackcloth, Branding instead of beauty:

25. ఖడ్గముచేత మనుష్యులు కూలుదురు యుద్ధమున నీ బలాఢ్యులు పడుదురు

25. Thy males, by the sword shall fall, And, thy mighty men, by the war;

26. పట్టణపు గుమ్మములు బాధపడి దుఃఖించును ఆమె ఏమియు లేనిదై నేల కూర్చుండును.

26. And her gates shall mourn and lament, And forsaken, on the ground, shah she sit.
