1. లాబాను కుమారులు మన తండ్రికి కలిగినది యావత్తును యాకోబు తీసికొని, మన తండ్రికి కలిగిన దానివలన ఈ యావదాస్తి సంపాదించెనని చెప్పుకొనిన మాటలు యాకోబు వినెను.

1. And he heard the wordes of Labans sonnes saying, Iacob hath take away all that was our fathers, and of our fathers [goodes] hath he gotten all his glorie.

2. మరియు అతడు లాబాను ముఖము చూచినప్పుడు అది నిన్న మొన్న ఉండినట్లు అతనియెడల ఉండలేదు.

2. And Iacob behelde the countenaunce of Laban, and beholde, it was not towardes hym as it was wont to be.

3. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నీ పితరుల దేశమునకు నీ బంధువుల యొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లుము; నేను నీకు తోడైయుండెదనని యాకోబుతో చెప్పగా

3. And the Lorde sayde vnto Iacob: turne agayne into the lande of thy fathers, and to thy kynrede, and I wyll be with thee.

4. యాకోబు పొలములో తన మందయొద్దకు రాహేలును లేయాను పిలువనంపి వారితో యిట్లనెను.

4. Therfore Iacob sent, & called Rachel and Lea to the fielde vnto his flocke,

5. మీ తండ్రి కటాక్షము నిన్న మొన్న నామీద ఉండినట్లు ఇప్పుడు నామీద నుండలేదని నాకు కనబడుచున్నది; అయితే నా తండ్రియొక్క దేవుడు నాకు తోడైయున్నాడు;

5. And sayde vnto them: I see your fathers countenauce that it is not toward me as it was wont to be: but the God of my father hath ben with me.

6. మీ తండ్రికి నా యావచ్ఛక్తితో కొలువు చేసితినని మీకు తెలిసే యున్నది.

6. And ye knowe howe I haue serued your father to the best of my power.

7. మీ తండ్రి నన్ను మోసపుచ్చి పదిమార్లు నా జీతము మార్చెను; అయినను దేవుడు అతని నాకు హానిచేయ నియ్యలేదు.

7. But your father hath deceaued me, and chaunged my wages ten tymes: but God suffred hym not to hurt me.

8. అతడు పొడలు గలవి నీ జీతమగునని చెప్పినయెడల అప్పుడు మందలన్నియు పొడలుగల పిల్లలనీనెను. చారలుగలవి నీ జీతమగునని చెప్పినయెడల అప్పుడు మందలన్నియు చారలుగల పిల్లల నీనెను.

8. When he sayde, the spotted shalbe thy wages: then al the sheepe bare spotted. And when he sayd, the ringstraked shalbe thy rewarde: then bare all the sheepe ringstraked.

9. అట్లు దేవుడు మీ తండ్రి పశువులను తీసి నాకిచ్చెను.

9. Thus hath God taken away the increase of your fathers flocke, and geuen it to me.

10. మందలు చూలుకట్టు కాలమున నేను స్వప్న మందు కన్నులెత్తి చూడగా గొఱ్ఱెలను దాటు పొట్టేళ్లు చారలైనను పొడలైనను మచ్చలైనను గలవై యుండెను.

10. But in rammyng tyme, I lifted vp myne eyes, and sawe in a dreame, and beholde, the Rammes leaped vpon the sheepe that were ringstraked, spotted, and partie.

11. మరియు ఆ స్వప్నమందు దేవుని దూత యాకోబూ అని నన్ను పిలువగా చిత్తము ప్రభువా అని చెప్పితిని.

11. And the angell of God spake vnto me in a dreame, saying: Iacob? And I aunswered: here am I.

12. అప్పుడు ఆయన నీ కన్నులెత్తి చూడుము; గొఱ్ఱెలను దాటుచున్న పొట్టేళ్లన్నియు చారలైనను పొడలైనను మచ్చలైనను గలవి; ఏలయనగా లాబాను నీకు చేయుచున్నది యావత్తును చూచితిని

12. And he sayd: lift vp nowe thyne eyes, and see all the Rammes leapyng vpon the sheepe that are ringstraked, spotted, and partie: for I haue seene all that Laban doth vnto thee.

13. నీ వెక్కడ స్తంభముమీద నూనె పోసితివో, యెక్కడ నాకు మ్రొక్కుబడి చేసితివో ఆ బేతేలు దేవుడను నేనే. ఇప్పుడు నీవు లేచి యీ దేశములోనుండి బయలుదేరి నీవు పుట్టిన దేశమునకు తిరిగి వెళ్లుమని నాతో చెప్పెననెను.

13. I am the God of Bethel, where thou annoyntedst the stone set vp on an ende, and where thou vowedst a vowe vnto me: nowe therefore aryse, and get thee out of this countrey, and returne vnto the lande where thou wast borne.

14. అందుకు రాహేలును లేయాయు యింక మా తండ్రి యింట మాకు పాలు పంపు లెక్కడివి? అతడు మమ్మును అన్యులుగా చూచుటలేదా?

14. Then aunswered Rachel, and Lea, and said vnto him: haue we had as yet any portion or inheritaunce in our fathers house?

15. అతడు మమ్మును అమ్మివేసి, మాకు రావలసిన ద్రవ్యమును బొత్తుగా తినివేసెను.

15. Doth not he count vs euen as straungers? for he hath solde vs, & hath quite deuoured also our money.

16. దేవుడు మా తండ్రి యొద్దనుండి తీసివేసిన ధనమంతయు మాదియు మా పిల్లలదియునైయున్నది గదా? కాబట్టి దేవుడు నీతో చెప్పినట్లెల్ల చేయుమని అతనికుత్తర మియ్యగా

16. Therfore all the ryches whiche God hath taken from our father, that is ours and our chyldrens: nowe then whatsoeuer God hath sayde vnto thee, that do.

17. యాకోబు లేచి తన కుమారులను తన భార్యలను ఒంటెలమీద నెక్కించి

17. Then Iacob rose vp, & set his sonnes and wyues vp vpon camelles:

18. కనాను దేశమునకు తన తండ్రియైన ఇస్సాకు నొద్దకు వెళ్లుటకు తన పశువులన్నిటిని, తాను సంపాదించిన సంపద యావత్తును, పద్దనరాములో తాను సంపాదించిన ఆస్తి యావత్తును తీసికొని పోయెను.

18. And caryed away all his flockes, and all his substaunce whiche he had procured, the increase of his cattell which he had gotten in Mesopotamia, for to go to Isahac his father vnto the lande of Chanaan.

19. లాబాను తన గొఱ్ఱెలబొచ్చు కత్తిరించుటకు వెళ్లియుండగా రాహేలు తన తండ్రి యింటనున్న గృహ దేవతలను దొంగిలెను.

19. But Laban was gone to sheare his sheepe: and Rachel had stolen her fathers images.

20. యాకోబు తాను పారిపోవు చున్నానని సిరియావాడైన లాబానుకు తెలియచేయక పోవుట వలన అతని మోసపుచ్చినవాడాయెను.

20. And Iacob stale away the heart of Laban the Syrian, in that he tolde him not that he fled.

21. అతడు తనకు కలిగిన దంతయు తీసికొని పారిపోయెను. అతడు లేచి నది దాటి గిలాదను కొండతట్టు అభిముఖుడై వెళ్లెను.

21. So fled he, and all that he had, and made hym selfe redy, and passed ouer the ryuer, and set his face strayght towarde the mounte Gilead.

22. యాకోబు పారిపోయెనని మూడవ దినమున లాబానుకు తెలుపబడెను.

22. Upon the thirde day after, was it told Laban that Iacob fled.

23. అతడు తన బంధువులను వెంటబెట్టుకొని, యేడు దినముల ప్రయాణమంత దూరము అతని తరుముకొని పోయి, గిలాదు కొండమీద అతని కలిసికొనెను.

23. Then he toke his brethren with him, and folowed after him seuen daies iourney, & ouertoke him at the mounte Gilead.

24. ఆ రాత్రి స్వప్నమందు దేవుడు సిరియావాడైన లాబాను నొద్దకు వచ్చినీవు యాకోబుతో మంచిగాని చెడ్డగాని పలుకకుము జాగ్రత్త సుమీ అని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

24. And God came to Laban the Syrian in a dreame by nyght, and sayd vnto him: take heede that thou speake not to Iacob ought saue good.

25. లాబాను యాకోబును కలిసికొనెను. యాకోబు తన గుడారము ఆ కొండమీద వేసికొనియుండెను; లాబానును తన బంధువులతో గిలాదు కొండమీద గుడారము వేసి కొనెను.

25. And Laban ouertoke Iacob, and Iacob had pitched his tent in the mounte: And Laban with his brethren, pitched also vpon the mounte Gilead.

26. అప్పుడు లాబాను యాకోబుతో నీవేమి చేసితివి? నన్ను మోసపుచ్చి, కత్తితో చెరపట్టబడిన వారిని వలె నా కుమార్తెలను కొనిపోవనేల?

26. And Laban said to Iacob: what hast thou done? for thou hast stollen away my heart, and caryed away my daughters as though they had ben taken captiue with the sworde.

27. నీవు నాకు చెప్పక రహస్యముగా పారిపోయి నన్ను మోసపుచ్చితివేల? సంభ్రమముతోను పాటలతోను మద్దెలతోను సితారాలతోను నిన్ను సాగనంపుదునే.

27. Wherfore wentest thou away secretly vnknowen to me, and dyddest not tell me, that I myght haue let thee go thy way with mirth and songues, with tymbrell and harpe?

28. అయితే నీవు నా కుమారులను నా కుమార్తెలను నన్ను ముద్దు పెట్టు కొననియ్యక పిచ్చిపట్టి యిట్లు చేసితివి.

28. And hast not suffred me to kysse my chyldren and my daughters? thou wast a foole nowe in so doyng.

29. మీకు హాని చేయుటకు నా చేతనవును; అయితే పోయిన రాత్రి మీ తండ్రియొక్క దేవుడు నీవు యాకోబుతో మంచి గాని చెడ్డగాని పలుకకుము జాగ్రత్త సుమీ అని నాతో చెప్పెను.

29. For it is in my hand through God to do you hurt: But the God of your father spake vnto me yesternight, saying: Take heede that thou speake not to Iacob ought saue good.

30. నీ తండ్రి యింటిమీద బహు వాంఛగల వాడవై వెళ్లగోరిన యెడల వెళ్లుము, నా దేవతల నేల దొంగిలితివనగా

30. And nowe though thou wouldest nedes be gone away, because thou sore longest after thy fathers house, yet wherfore hast thou stollen my gods?

31. యాకోబు నీవు బలవంతముగా నా యొద్దనుండి నీ కుమార్తెలను తీసికొందువేమో అనుకొని భయపడితిని

31. Iacob aunswered and sayde to Laban: because I was afrayde, & thought that peraduenture thou wouldest take away thy daughters from me.

32. ఎవరియొద్ద నీ దేవతలు కనబడునో వారు బ్రదుకకూడదు. నీవు నా యొద్దనున్న వాటిని మన బంధువుల యెదుట వెదకి నీ దానిని తీసికొనుమని లాబానుతో చెప్పెను. రాహేలు వాటిని దొంగిలెనని యాకోబునకు తెలియలేదు.

32. But with whomsoeuer thou findest thy gods, let hym dye. Here before our brethren, seeke that thyne is by me, and take it to thee: But Iacob wyst not that Rachel had stolen them.

33. లాబాను యాకోబు గుడారములోనికి లేయా గుడారము లోనికి ఇద్దరి దాసీల గుడారములలోనికి వెళ్లెను గాని అతని కేమియు దొరకలేదు. తరువాత అతడు లేయా గుడారములోనుండి బయలుదేరి రాహేలు గుడారములోనికి వెళ్లెను.

33. Then went Laban into Iacobs tent, and into Leas tent, and into the two maydseruaunts tentes: but found them not. Then went he out of Leas tent, and entred into Rachels tent:

34. రాహేలు ఆ విగ్రహములను తీసికొని ఒంటె సామగ్రిలో పెట్టి వాటిమీద కూర్చుండెను. కాగా లాబాను ఆ గుడారమందంతటను తడవి చూచి నప్పటికిని అవి దొరకలేదు.

34. And Rachel had taken the images, and put them in the camelles strawe, & sate downe vpon them: And Laban tossed vp all ye tent, but found them not.

35. ఆమె తన తండ్రితో తమ యదుట నేను లేవలేనందున తాము కోపపడకూడదు; నేను కడగానున్నానని చెప్పెను. అతడెంత వెదకినను ఆ విగ్రహములు దొరకలేదు.

35. Then sayde she to her father: my Lord, be not angry that I can not ryse vp before thee, for the custome of women is come vpon me. So searched he, but founde not those images.

36. యాకోబు కోపపడి లాబానుతో వాదించి అతనితో నీవిట్లు మండిపడి నన్ను తరుమ నేల? నేను చేసిన ద్రోహమేమి? పాపమేమి?

36. And Iacob was wroth, and chode with Laban. Iacob also aunswered and sayd to him: what haue I trespassed? or what haue I offended thee, that thou doest sore pursue after me?

37. నీవు నా సమస్త సామగ్రి తడివి చూచిన తరువాత నీ యింటి వస్తువులన్నిటిలో ఏది దొరికెను? నా వారి యెదుటను నీ వారియెదుటను అది యిట్లు తెచ్చిపెట్టుము; వారు మన ఉభయుల మధ్య తీర్పు తీర్చుదురు.

37. Thou hast tossed vp all my stuffe, and what hast thou founde of all thy householde stuffe? put it here before thy brethren and my brethren, that they may iudge betwixt vs both.

38. ఈ యిరువది యేండ్లు నేను నీయొద్దనుంటిని. నీ గొఱ్ఱెలైనను మేకలైనను ఈచుకొని పోలేదు, నీ మంద పొట్టేళ్లను నేను తినలేదు.

38. Behold, this twentie yere haue I ben with thee, thy sheepe and thy goates haue not ben barren, and the rammes of thy flocke haue I not eaten.

39. దుష్ట మృగములచేత చీల్చబడినదానిని నీ యొద్దకు తేక ఆ నష్టము నేనే పెట్టుకొంటిని. పగటియందు దొంగిలింపబడిన దాని నేమి రాత్రియందు దొంగి లింపబడినదాని నేమి నాయొద్ద పుచ్చుకొంటివి; నేను ఈలాగుంటిని.

39. Whatsoeuer was torne [of beastes] I brought it not vnto thee, but made it good my selfe: of my hande diddest thou require it that was stolen by day or nyght.

40. పగటి యెండకును రాత్రి మంచుకును నేను క్షీణించిపోతిని; నిద్ర నా కన్నులకు దూరమాయెను.

40. I was in suche case, that by day the heate consumed me, and the frost by nyght, and my slepe departed from mine eyes.

41. ఇదివరకు నీ యింటిలో ఇరువది యేండ్లు ఉంటిని. నీ యిద్దరి కుమార్తెల నిమిత్తము పదునాలు గేండ్లును, నీ మంద నిమిత్తము ఆరేండ్లును నీకు కొలువు చేసితిని. అయినను నీవు నా జీతము పదిమారులు మార్చితివి.

41. Thus haue I ben twentie yere in thy house, and serued thee fourteene yeres for thy two daughters, and sixe yere for thy sheepe, and thou hast chaunged my rewarde ten tymes.

42. నా తండ్రి దేవుడు, అబ్రాహాము దేవుడు, ఇస్సాకు భయపడిన దేవుడు నాకు తోడైయుండనియెడల నిశ్చయముగా నీవు నన్ను వట్టి చేతులతోనే పంపివేసి యుందువు. దేవుడు నా ప్రయాసమును నా చేతుల కష్టమును చూచి, పోయిన రాత్రి నిన్ను గద్దించెనని లాబానుతో చెప్పెను.

42. And except the God of my father, the God of Abraham, and the feare of Isahac had ben with me, surely thou haddest sent me away nowe all emptie: but God behelde my tribulation and the labour of my handes, and rebuked [thee] yesternyght.

43. అందుకు లాబాను ఈ కుమార్తెలు నా కుమార్తెలు, ఈ కుమారులు నా కుమారులు, ఈ మంద నా మంద, నీకు కనబడుచున్నది అంతయు నాది, ఈ నా కుమార్తెలనైనను వీరు కనిన కుమారుల నైనను నేనేమి చేయగలను.

43. And Laban aunswered and sayd vnto Iacob: these daughters are my daughters, and these chyldren are my chyldren, & these sheepe are my sheepe, and all that thou seest is myne: and what can I do this day vnto these my daughters, or vnto their children which they haue borne?

44. కావున నేనును నీవును నిబంధన చేసికొందము రమ్ము, అది నాకును నీకును మధ్య సాక్షిగా ఉండునని యాకోబుతో ఉత్తరమియ్యగా

44. Nowe therfore come on, and let vs make a league I and thou, which may be a wytnesse betwene me and thee.

45. యాకోబు ఒక రాయి తీసికొని దానిని స్తంభముగా నిలువబెట్టెను.

45. Then toke Iacob a stone, and set it vp on ende.

46. మరియు యాకోబు రాళ్లు కూర్చుడని తన బంధువులతో చెప్పెను. వారు రాళ్లు తెచ్చి కుప్ప వేసిరి; అక్కడ వారు ఆ కుప్ప యొద్ద భోజనము చేసిరి.

46. And Iacob sayde vnto his brethren: gather stones. And they toke stones, and made an heape: and they dyd eate there vpon the heape.

47. లాబాను దానికి యగర్‌ శాహదూతా అను పేరు పెట్టెను. అయితే యాకోబు దానికి గలేదు అను పేరు పెట్టెను.

47. And Laban called it Iegar Sahadutha: but Iacob called it Galeed.

48. లాబాను నేడు ఈ కుప్ప నాకును నీకును మధ్య సాక్షిగా ఉండునని చెప్పెను. కాబట్టి దానికి గలేదను పేరుపెట్టెను. మరియు మనము ఒకరికొకరము దూరముగా నుండగా యెహోవా నాకును నీకును మధ్య జరుగునది కనిపెట్టునని చెప్పెను గనుక దానికి మిస్పా అను పేరు పెట్టబడెను.

48. Then saide Laban: this heape is witnesse betwene thee and me this day, therfore it is called Galeed,

49. అంతట లాబాను నీవు నా కుమార్తెలను బాధ పెట్టినను, నా కుమార్తెలను గాక యితర స్త్రీలను పెండ్లి చేసికొనినను, చూడుము,

49. And Mispah: for he said, the Lord loke betwene thee and me when we are departed one from another,

50. మనయొద్ద ఎవరును లేరు గదా, నాకును నీకును దేవుడే సాక్షి అని చెప్పెను.

50. If thou shalt vexe my daughters, or shalt take other wyues beside my daughters: here is no man with vs, beholde, God [is] wytnesse betwixt me and thee.

51. మరియు లాబాను నాకును నీకును మధ్య నేను నిలిపిన యీ స్తంభమును చూడుము ఈ కుప్ప చూడుము.

51. And Laban sayde moreouer to Iacob: beholde this heape, and this stone set vp on ende, whiche I haue layde betwixt me and thee,

52. హానిచేయవలెనని నేను ఈ కుప్ప దాటి నీ యొద్దకు రాకను, నీవు ఈ కుప్పను ఈ స్తంభమును దాటి నా యొద్దకు రాకను ఉండుటకు ఈ కుప్ప సాక్షి యీ స్తంభమును సాక్షి.

52. This heape be witnesse, and also this stone set vp on ende, that I wyll not come ouer this heape to thee, and thou shalt not come ouer this heape and this stone set vp on ende vnto me, to do any harme.

53. అబ్రాహాము దేవుడు నాహోరు దేవుడు వారి తండ్రి దేవుడు మన మధ్య న్యాయము తీర్చునని చెప్పెను. అప్పుడు యాకోబు తన తండ్రియైన ఇస్సాకు భయపడిన దేవునితోడని ప్రమాణము చేసెను.

53. The God of Abraham, and the God of Nachor, and the God of theyr father, be iudge betwixt vs. And Iacob sware by the feare of his father Isahac.

54. యాకోబు ఆ కొండమీద బలియర్పించి భోజనము చేయుటకు తన బంధువులను పిలువగా వారు భోజనముచేసి కొండమీద ఆ రాత్రి వెళ్లబుచ్చిరి.

54. Then Iacob dyd sacrifice vpon the mounte, and called his brethren to eate bread: and they did eate bread, and taryed all nyght in the hyll.

55. తెల్లవారినప్పుడు లాబాను లేచి తన కుమారులను తన కుమార్తెలను ముద్దు పెట్టుకొని వారిని దీవించి బయలుదేరి తన ఊరికి వెళ్లి పోయెను.

55. And early in the mornyng Laban rose vp, and kyssed his sonnes and his daughters, and blessed them: and Laban departyng, went into his place agayne.
