1. THIS IS the book (the written record, the history) of the generations of the offspring of Adam. When God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.

4. After he had Seth, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters.

7. Seth lived after the birth of Enosh 807 years and had other sons and daughters.

8. షేతు బ్రదికిన దినములన్నియు తొమ్మిదివందల పండ్రెండేండ్లు; అప్పుడతడు మృతిబొందెను.

8. So Seth lived 912 years, and he died.

9. ఎనోషు తొంబది సంవత్సరములు బ్రదికి, కేయినానును కనెను.

9. When Enosh was 90 years old, Kenan was born to him.

10. కేయినానును కనిన తరువాత ఎనోషు ఎనిమిది వందల పదునైదేండ్లు బ్రదికి కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను కనెను.

10. Enosh lived after the birth of Kenan 815 years and had other sons and daughters.

11. ఎనోషు దినములన్నియు తొమ్మిదివందల అయిదేండ్లు; అప్పుడతడు మృతిబొందెను.

11. So Enosh lived 905 years, and he died.

12. కేయినాను డెబ్బది యేండ్లు బ్రదికి మహలలేలును కనెను.

12. When Kenan was 70 years old, Mahalalel was born.

13. మహలలేలును కనిన తరువాత కేయినాను ఎనిమిది వందల నలువది యేండ్లు బ్రదికి కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను కనెను.

13. Kenan lived after the birth of Mahalalel 840 years and had other sons and daughters.

14. కేయినాను దినములన్నియు తొమ్మిదివందల పది యేండ్లు; అప్పుడతడు మృతిబొందెను.

14. So Kenan lived 910 years, and he died.

15. మహలలేలు అరువది యైదేండ్లు బ్రదికి యెరెదును కనెను.

15. When Mahalalel was 65 years old, Jared was born.

16. యెరెదును కనిన తరువాత మహలలేలు ఎనిమిది వందల ముప్పది యేండ్లు బ్రదికి కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను కనెను.

16. Mahalalel lived after the birth of Jared 830 years and had other sons and daughters.

17. మహలలేలు దినములన్నియు ఎనిమిది వందల తొంబదియైదేండ్లు; అప్పుడతడు మృతిబొందెను.

17. So Mahalalel lived 895 years, and he died.

18. యెరెదు నూట అరువది రెండేండ్లు బ్రదికి హనోకును కనెను.

18. When Jared was 162 years old, Enoch was born.

19. హనోకును కనిన తరువాత యెరెదు ఎనిమిది వందల యేండ్లు బ్రదికి కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను కనెను.

19. Jared lived after the birth of Enoch 800 years and had other sons and daughters.

20. యెరెదు దినములన్నియు తొమ్మిదివందల అరువదిరెండేండ్లు; అప్పుడతడు మృతిబొందెను.

20. So Jared lived 962 years, and he died.

21. హనోకు అరువది యైదేండ్లు బ్రదికి మెతూషెలను కనెను.

21. When Enoch was 65 years old, Methuselah was born.

22. హనోకు మెతూషెలను కనిన తరువాత మూడు వందల యేండ్లు దేవునితో నడుచుచు కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను కనెను.

22. Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God after the birth of Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters.

23. హనోకు దినములన్నియు మూడువందల అరువదియైదేండ్లు.

23. So all the days of Enoch were 365 years.

24. హనోకు దేవునితో నడిచిన తరువాత దేవుడతని తీసికొనిపోయెను గనుక అతడు లేకపోయెను.

24. And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him]. [Heb. 11:5.]

25. When Methuselah was 187 years old, Lamech was born to him.

26. మెతూషెల లెమెకును కనిన తరువాత ఏడు వందల ఎనుబది రెండేండ్లు బ్రదికి కుమారులను కుమార్తెలను కనెను.

26. Methuselah lived after the birth of Lamech 782 years and had other sons and daughters.

27. మెతూషెల దినములన్నియు తొమ్మిదివందల అరువది తొమ్మిదియేండ్లు; అప్పుడతడు మృతిబొందెను.

27. So Methuselah lived 969 years, and he died.

28. లెమెకు నూట ఎనుబది రెండేండ్లు బ్రదికి ఒక కుమారుని కని

28. When Lamech was 182 years old, a son was born.

29. భూమిని యెహోవా శపించినందువలన కలిగిన మన చేతుల కష్టము విషయములోను మన పని విషయము లోను ఇతడు మనకు నెమ్మది కలుగజేయుననుకొని అతనికి నోవహు అని పేరు పెట్టెను.

29. He named him Noah, saying, This one shall bring us relief and comfort from our work and the [grievous] toil of our hands due to the ground being cursed by the Lord.

30. Lamech lived after the birth of Noah 595 years and had other sons and daughters.

31. లెమెకు దినములన్నియు ఏడువందల డెబ్బది యేడేండ్లు; అప్పుడతడు మృతిబొందెను.

31. So all the days of Lamech were 777 years, and he died.

32. నోవహు ఐదువందల యేండ్లు గలవాడై షేమును హామును యాపెతును కనెను.

32. After Noah was 500 years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
