2. From the sons of Asaph cameZaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah and Asarelah. The sons of Asaph were under the direction of Asaph. He prophesied under the king's direction.

3. యెదూతూను సంబంధులలో స్తుతి పాటలు పాడుచు యెహోవాను స్తుతించుటకై సితారాను వాయించుచు ప్రకటించు తమ తండ్రియైన యెదూతూను చేతి క్రిందనుండు యెదూతూను కుమారులైన గెదల్యా జెరీ యెషయా హషబ్యా మత్తిత్యా అను ఆరుగురు.

3. From the sons of Jeduthun cameGedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah and Mattithiah. The total number was six. They were under the direction of their father Jeduthun. He prophesied while playing the harp. He used it to thank and praise the Lord.

4. హేమాను సంబంధులలో హేమాను కుమారులైన బక్కీ యాహు మత్తన్యా ఉజ్జీయేలు షెబూయేలు యెరీమోతు హనన్యా హనానీ ఎలీయ్యాతా గిద్దల్తీ రోమమీ్తయెజెరు యొష్బెకాషా మల్లోతి హోతీరు మహజీయోతు అనువారు.

4. From the sons of Heman cameBukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shubael, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir and Mahazioth.

5. All of them were sons of the king's prophet Heman. They were given to Heman to bring him honor. That's what God had promised. God gave him 14 sons and three daughters.

6. వీరందరు ఆసాపునకును యెదూ తూనునకును హేమానునకును రాజు చేసియున్న కట్టడ ప్రకారము యెహోవా యింటిలో తాళములు స్వర మండలములు సితారాలు వాయించుచు గానము చేయుచు, తమ తండ్రి చేతిక్రింద దేవుని మందిరపు సేవ జరిగించు చుండిరి.

6. All of them were under the direction of their fathers. They played music for the Lord's temple. They served at the house of God by playing cymbals, lyres and harps. Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman were under the king's direction.

7. యెహోవాకు గానము చేయుటలో నేర్పు పొందిన తమ సహోదరులతో కూడనున్న ప్రవీణులైన పాటకుల లెక్క రెండువందల ఎనుబది యెనిమిది.

7. All of them were trained and skilled in playing music for the Lord. Their total number was 288. That included their relatives.

8. Young and old alike cast lots for their duties. That was true for students as well as teachers.
