1. మీరు బ్రదికి అభివృద్ధినొంది యెహోవా మీ పితరు లతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన దేశమునకు పోయి దాని స్వాధీన పరచుకొనునట్లు నేడు నేను నీ కాజ్ఞాపించిన ఆజ్ఞలన్నిటిని అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనవలెను.

1. All the commandments which I command thee this day ye shall keep for to do them, that ye may live and multiply and go and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers.

2. మరియు నీవు ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలను గైకొందువో లేదో నిన్ను శోధించి నీ హృదయ ములో నున్నది తెలుసుకొనుటకు నిన్ను అణచు నిమిత్త మును అరణ్యములో ఈ నలువది సంవత్సరములు నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నిన్ను నడిపించిన మార్గమంతటిని జ్ఞాప కము చేసికొనుము.

2. And think on all the way which the LORD thy God led thee this forty year in the wilderness, for to humble thee and to prove thee, to wete what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or no.

3. ఆహారమువలననే గాక యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చిన ప్రతి మాటవలన నరులు బ్రదుకుదురని నీకు తెలియజేయుటకు ఆయన నిన్ను అణచి నీకు ఆకలి కలుగజేసి, నీవేగాని నీ పితరులేగాని యెన్నడెరుగని మన్నాతో నిన్ను పోషించెను.

3. He humbled thee and made thee hunger and fed thee with manna which neither thou nor thy father knew of, to make thee know that a man must not live by bread only: but by all that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD must a man live.

4. ఈ నలువది సంవత్సరములు నీవు వేసికొనిన బట్టలు పాతగిలలేదు, నీ కాలు వాయలేదు.

4. Thy raiment waxed not old upon thee, neither did thy feet swell this forty year.

5. ఒకడు తన కుమారుని ఎట్లు శిక్షించెనో అట్లే నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను శిక్షించువాడని నీవు తెలిసికొని

5. Understand therefore in thine heart, that as a man nurtureth his son, even so the LORD thy God nurtureth thee.

6. ఆయన మార్గములలో నడుచుకొనునట్లును ఆయనకు భయ పడునట్లును నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞలను గైకొన వలెను.

6. Keep therefore the commandments of the LORD thy God that thou walk in his ways and that thou fear him.

7. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను మంచి దేశములో ప్రవేశపెట్టును. అది నీటి వాగులును, లోయలలో నుండియు కొండలలో నుండియు పారు ఊటలును అగాధ జలములును గల దేశము.

7. For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of rivers of water, of fountains and of springs that spring out both in valleys and hills:

8. అది గోధుమలు యవలు ద్రాక్షచెట్లు అంజూరపుచెట్లు దానిమ్మపండ్లును గల దేశము, ఒలీవ నూనెయు తేనెయు గల దేశము.

8. a land of wheat and of barley, of vines, fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees with oil and of honey:

9. కరవు అనుకొనకుండ నీవు ఆహారము తిను దేశము; అందులో నీకు ఏ లోపముండదు. అది యినుపరాళ్లు గల దేశము; దాని కొండలలో నీవు రాగి త్రవ్వి తీయవచ్చును.

9. a land wherein thou shalt not eat bread in scarceness, and where thou shalt lack nothing, a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou shalt dig brass.

10. నీవు తిని తృప్తిపొంది నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీకిచ్చిన మంచి దేశమునుబట్టి ఆయనను స్తుతింపవలెను.

10. When thou hast eaten therefore and filled thyself, then bless the LORD for the good land which he hath given thee.

11. నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ఆయన ఆజ్ఞలను విధులను కట్టడలను నీవు అనుసరింపక నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను మరచి కడుపారతిని

11. But beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, that thou wouldest not keep his commandments, laws and ordinances which I command thee this day:

12. మంచి యిండ్లు కట్టించుకొని వాటిలో నివసింపగా,

12. yea and when thou hast eaten and filled thyself and hast built goodly houses and dwelt therein,

13. నీ పశువులు నీ గొఱ్ఱె మేకలును వృద్ధియై నీకు వెండి బంగారములు విస్తరించి నీకు కలిగినదంతయు వర్థిల్లినప్పుడు

13. and when thy beasts and thy sheep are waxed many and thy silver and thy gold is multiplied

14. నీ మనస్సు మదించి, దాసులగృహమైన ఐగుప్తుదేశములో నుండి నిన్ను రప్పించిన నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను మర చెదవేమో.

14. and all that thou hast increased, then beware lest thine heart rise and thou forget the LORD thy God which brought thee out of the land of Egypt the house of bondage,

15. తాపకరమైన పాములును తేళ్లును కలిగి యెడారియై నీళ్లులేని భయంకరమైన ఆ గొప్ప అరణ్య ములో ఆయన నిన్ను నడిపించెను, రాతిబండనుండి నీకు నీళ్లు తెప్పించెను,

15. and which led thee in the wilderness both great and terrible with fiery serpents and scorpions and thirst(drouth) where was no water, which brought the water out of the rock of flint:

16. తుదకు నీకు మేలు చేయవలెనని నిన్ను అణుచుటకును శోధించుటకును నీ పితరులు ఎరుగని మన్నాతో అరణ్యమున నిన్ను పోషించెను.

16. which fed thee in the wilderness with Man whereof thy fathers knew not, for to humble thee and to prove thee, that he might do thee good at thy latter end.

17. అయితే మీరుమా సామర్థ్యము మా బాహుబలము ఇంత భాగ్యము మాకు కలుగజేసెనని అనుకొందురేమో.

17. And beware that thou say not in thine heart, my power and the might of mine own hand hath done me all these acts:

18. కాగా నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొన వలెను. ఏలయనగా తాను నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణము చేసినట్లు తన నిబంధనను నేటివలె స్థాపింపవలెనని మీరు భాగ్యము సంపాదించుకొనుటకై మీకు సామర్థ్యము కలుగజేయువాడు ఆయనే.

18. But remember the LORD thy God, how that it is he which gave thee power to do manfully, for to make good the promise which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is come to pass this day.

19. నీవు ఏమాత్రమైనను నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాను మరచి యితరదేవతల ననుసరించి పూజించి నమస్కరించిన యెడల మీరు నిశ్చయముగా నశించిపోదురని నేడు మిమ్మునుగూర్చి నేను సాక్ష్యము పలికియున్నాను.

19. For if thou shalt forget the LORD thy God and shalt walk after strange gods and serve them and worship them, I testify unto you this day, that ye shall surely perish.

20. నీ యెదుటనుండకుండ యెహోవా నశింపజేయుచున్న జనములు వినకపోయినట్టు మీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా మాట మీరు వినకపోయినయెడల మీరును వారివలెనే నశించెదరు.

20. As the nations which the LORD destroyeth before thee, even so ye shall perish, because ye would not hearken unto the voice of the LORD your God.
