3. And you, take a griddle of iron to yourself, and place it as a wall of iron between you and the city. And place your face against it, and it shall be under siege, and thrust upon it. It is a sign to the house of Israel.

4. And you, lie down on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it. The number of the days that you shall lie down on it, you shall bear their iniquity.

5. For I have laid on you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of days: three hundred and ninety days. And you shall bear the house of Israel's iniquity.

6. ఆ దినములు గడచిన తరువాత కుడిప్రక్కను పండుకొనియుండి నలువది దినములు యూదావారి దోషమును భరింపవలెను, సంవత్సర మొకటింటికి ఒక దినము చొప్పున నేను నిర్ణయించి యున్నాను.

6. And when you complete them, even lie on your right side, the second. And you shall bear the house of Judah's iniquity forty days; a day for a year. I have set it for you, a day for a year.

7. ఈలాగు నీవుండగా యెరూషలేము ముట్టడివేయబడినట్లు తేరిచూచుచు, చొక్కాయిని తీసివేసిన బాహువు చాపి దానినిగూర్చి ప్రకటింపవలెను.

7. And you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and your arm bared; and you shall prophesy over it.

8. పట్టణము ముట్టడివేయబడినట్లుండు దినములు నీవు రెండవ ప్రక్కను తిరుగక అదేపాటున ఉండునట్లు నిన్నుకట్లతో బంధింతును.

8. And, behold, I will put cords on you, and you cannot turn from your side to your other side until you have completed the days of your siege.

9. మరియు నీవు గోధుమలును యవలును కాయధాన్యములును చోళ్లును సజ్జలును తెల్ల జిలకరను తెచ్చుకొని, యొక పాత్రలో ఉంచి, నీవు ఆ ప్రక్కమీద పండుకొను దినముల లెక్కచొప్పున రొట్టెలు కాల్చుకొనవలెను, మూడువందల తొంబది దినములు నీవు ఈలాగున భోజనము చేయుచు రావలెను;

9. And you, take to yourself wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and place them in a single vessel; and make them for yourself into bread, to the number of days that you are lying on your side. You shall eat it three hundred and ninety days.

10. నీవు తూనికె ప్రకారము, అనగా దినమొకటింటికి ఇరువది తులముల యెత్తుచొప్పున భుజింపవలెను, వేళవేళకు తినవలెను,

10. And your food which you shall eat shall be by weight: twenty shekels a day. From time to time you shall eat it.

11. నీళ్లు కొలప్రకారము అరపడిచొప్పున ప్రతిదినము త్రాగవలెను, వేళవేళకు త్రాగవలెను;

11. And you shall drink water by measure: the sixth part of a hin. From time to time you shall drink.

12. యవల అప్పములు చేసి వారు చూచుచుండగా దానిని మనుష్యమలముతో కాల్చి భుజింపవలెను;

12. And you shall eat cakes of barley, and you shall bake it with dung of the excrement of man, in their sight.

13. నేను వారిని తోలివేయు జనములలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఈ ప్రకారము అపవిత్రమైన ఆహారమును భుజింతురని యెహోవా నాకు సెలవిచ్చెను.

13. And Jehovah said, Even so the sons of Israel shall eat their defiled bread among the nations there where I will drive them.

14. అందుకు అయ్యో, ప్రభువా, యెహోవా, నేనెన్నడును అపవిత్రత నొందినవాడను కానే, బాల్యమునుండి నేటి వరకును చచ్చినదానినైనను మృగములు చీల్చినదానినైనను నేను తినినవాడను కానే, నిషిద్ధమైన మాంసము నా నోట ఎన్నడును పడలేదే అని నేననగా

14. Then I said, Ah, Lord Jehovah! Behold, my soul has not been defiled. I have not even eaten a carcass or a torn animal, from my youth even until now. And unclean flesh has not come into my mouth.

15. ఆయన చూడుము, మనుష్యమలమునకు మారుగా నీకు గోమలము నేను నిర్ణయించియున్నాను; దీనితో నీవు నీ భోజనము సిద్ధ పరుచుకొనుమని సెలవిచ్చి

15. Then He said to me, See, I have given to you the dung of cattle in place of the dung of man. And you shall make bread over it.

16. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇదిగో యెరూషలేములో రొట్టెయను ఆధారమును నేను లేకుండ చేసినందున వారు తూనికె ప్రకారముగా బహు చింతతో రొట్టె భుజింతురు, నీళ్లు కొలచొప్పున త్రాగుచు విస్మయ మొందుదురు.

16. And He said to me, Son of man, behold, I am breaking the staff of bread in Jerusalem. And they shall eat bread by weight, and with anxiety. And they shall drink water by measure, and in horror,

17. అన్నపానములు లేకపోయినందున వారు శ్రమనొంది విభ్రాంతిపడి యొకనినొకడు చూచుచు తాము కలుగజేసికొనిన దోషమువలన నశించిపోవుదురు.

17. because they will lack bread and water, and each one be stunned with his brother. And they will waste away in their iniquity.
