1. You also, Son of Man, take for yourself a tile, and lay it before you, and portray on it a city, even Jerusalem:

2. and lay siege against it, and build forts against it, and cast up a mound against it; set camps also against it, and plant battering rams against it round about.

3. And you take to yourself an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city: and set your face toward it, and it will be besieged, and you will lay siege against it. This will be a sign to the house of Israel.

4. Moreover you lie on your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel on it; [according to] the number of the days that you will lie on it, you will bear their iniquity.

5. ఇశ్రాయేలు వారి దోషమును నీవు భరించునట్లుగా వారు దోషము చేసిన సంవత్సరముల లెక్కచొప్పున నీకు మూడువందల తొంబది దినములు నిర్ణయించియున్నాను.

5. For I have appointed the years of their iniquity to be to you a number of days, even three hundred and ninety days: so you will bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

6. ఆ దినములు గడచిన తరువాత కుడిప్రక్కను పండుకొనియుండి నలువది దినములు యూదావారి దోషమును భరింపవలెను, సంవత్సర మొకటింటికి ఒక దినము చొప్పున నేను నిర్ణయించి యున్నాను.

6. And again, when you have accomplished these, you will lie on your right side, and will bear the iniquity of the house of Judah: forty days, each day for a year, I have appointed it to you.

7. ఈలాగు నీవుండగా యెరూషలేము ముట్టడివేయబడినట్లు తేరిచూచుచు, చొక్కాయిని తీసివేసిన బాహువు చాపి దానినిగూర్చి ప్రకటింపవలెను.

7. And you will set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, with your arm uncovered; and you will prophesy against it.

8. పట్టణము ముట్టడివేయబడినట్లుండు దినములు నీవు రెండవ ప్రక్కను తిరుగక అదేపాటున ఉండునట్లు నిన్నుకట్లతో బంధింతును.

8. And, look, I lay bands on you, and you will not turn from one side to the other, until you have accomplished the days of your siege.

9. మరియు నీవు గోధుమలును యవలును కాయధాన్యములును చోళ్లును సజ్జలును తెల్ల జిలకరను తెచ్చుకొని, యొక పాత్రలో ఉంచి, నీవు ఆ ప్రక్కమీద పండుకొను దినముల లెక్కచొప్పున రొట్టెలు కాల్చుకొనవలెను, మూడువందల తొంబది దినములు నీవు ఈలాగున భోజనము చేయుచు రావలెను;

9. You take also to yourself wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make yourself bread of them; [according to] the number of the days that you will lie on your side, even three hundred and ninety days, you will eat of it.

10. నీవు తూనికె ప్రకారము, అనగా దినమొకటింటికి ఇరువది తులముల యెత్తుచొప్పున భుజింపవలెను, వేళవేళకు తినవలెను,

10. And your food which you will eat will be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time you will eat it.

11. నీళ్లు కొలప్రకారము అరపడిచొప్పున ప్రతిదినము త్రాగవలెను, వేళవేళకు త్రాగవలెను;

11. And you will drink water by measure, the sixth part of a hin: from time to time you will drink.

12. యవల అప్పములు చేసి వారు చూచుచుండగా దానిని మనుష్యమలముతో కాల్చి భుజింపవలెను;

12. And you will eat it as barley cakes, and you will bake it in their sight with dung that comes out of man.

13. నేను వారిని తోలివేయు జనములలో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు ఈ ప్రకారము అపవిత్రమైన ఆహారమును భుజింతురని యెహోవా నాకు సెలవిచ్చెను.

13. And Yahweh said, Even thus will the sons of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.

14. అందుకు అయ్యో, ప్రభువా, యెహోవా, నేనెన్నడును అపవిత్రత నొందినవాడను కానే, బాల్యమునుండి నేటి వరకును చచ్చినదానినైనను మృగములు చీల్చినదానినైనను నేను తినినవాడను కానే, నిషిద్ధమైన మాంసము నా నోట ఎన్నడును పడలేదే అని నేననగా

14. Then I said, Ah Sovereign Yahweh! Look, my soul has not been polluted; for from my youth up even until now I have not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn of beasts; neither has there come contaminated flesh into my mouth.

15. ఆయన చూడుము, మనుష్యమలమునకు మారుగా నీకు గోమలము నేను నిర్ణయించియున్నాను; దీనితో నీవు నీ భోజనము సిద్ధ పరుచుకొనుమని సెలవిచ్చి

15. Then he said to me, See, I have given you cow's dung for man's dung, and you will prepare your bread on it.

16. నరపుత్రుడా, ఇదిగో యెరూషలేములో రొట్టెయను ఆధారమును నేను లేకుండ చేసినందున వారు తూనికె ప్రకారముగా బహు చింతతో రొట్టె భుజింతురు, నీళ్లు కొలచొప్పున త్రాగుచు విస్మయ మొందుదురు.

16. Moreover he said to me, Son of Man, look, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they will eat bread by weight, and with fearfulness; and they will drink water by measure, and in dismay:

17. అన్నపానములు లేకపోయినందున వారు శ్రమనొంది విభ్రాంతిపడి యొకనినొకడు చూచుచు తాము కలుగజేసికొనిన దోషమువలన నశించిపోవుదురు.

17. that they may want bread and water, and be dismayed a man and his brother, and pine away in their iniquity.
