1. బెన్యామీనీయులారా, యెరూషలేములో నుండి పారిపోవుడి, తెకోవలో బూరధ్వని చేయుడి, బేత్‌ హక్కెరెము మీద ఆనవాలుకై ధ్వజము నిలువబెట్టుడి, కీడు ఉత్తర దిక్కునుండి వచ్చుచున్నది, గొప్ప దండు వచ్చుచున్నది.

4. ఆమెతో యుద్ధమునకు సిద్ధపరచుకొనుడి; లెండి, మధ్యాహ్నమందు బయలుదేరుదము. అయ్యో, మనకు శ్రమ, ప్రొద్దు గ్రుంకుచున్నది, సాయంకాలపు ఛాయలు పొడుగవుచున్నవి.

6. సైన్యముల కధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు చెట్లను నరికి యెరూషలేమునకు ఎదురుగా ముట్టడిదిబ్బ కట్టుడి, ఈ పట్టణము కేవలము అన్యాయమును అనుసరించి నడచునది గనుక శిక్ష నొందవలసి వచ్చెను.

7. ఊట తన జలమును పైకి ఉబుక చేయునట్లు అది తన చెడుతనమును పైకి ఉబుకచేయుచున్నది, బలాత్కారమును దోపుడును దానిలో జరుగుట వినబడుచున్నది, గాయములును దెబ్బలును నిత్యము నాకు కనబడుచున్నవి.

7. As a cisterne makith his water coold, so it made his malice coold; wickidnesse and distriyng schal euer be herd ther ynne bifore me, sikenesse and wounde.

8. యెరూషలేమా, నేను నీయొద్దనుండి తొలగింపబడకుండునట్లును నేను నిన్ను పాడైన నిర్మానుష్య ప్రదేశముగా చేయకుండునట్లును శిక్షకు లోబడుము.

9. సైన్యములకధిపతియగు యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ద్రాక్షచెట్టు ఫలమును ఏరుకొనునట్లు మనుష్యులు ఏమియు మిగులకుండ ఇశ్రాయేలు శేషమును ఏరుదురు; ద్రాక్షపండ్లను ఏరువాడు చిన్న తీగెలను ఏరుటకై తన చెయ్యి మరల వేయునట్లు నీ చెయ్యివేయుము.

9. The Lord of oostis seith these thingis, Thei schulen gadere til to a racyn, thei schulen gadere the remenauntis of Israel as in a vyner; turne thin hond, as a gaderer of grapis to the bascat.

10. విందురని నేనెవరితో మాటలాడెదను? ఎవరికి సాక్ష్యమిచ్చెదను? వారు వినుటకు తమ మనస్సు సిద్ధపరచుకొనరు గనుక వినలేకపోయిరి. ఇదిగో వారు యెహోవా వాక్యమందు సంతోషము లేనివారై దాని తృణీకరింతురు.

11. Therfor Y am ful of the strong veniaunce of the Lord, and Y trauelide suffrynge. Schede thou out on a litil child with outforth, and on the counsel of yonge men togidere; for a man with his wijf schal be takun, and an eeld man with him that is ful of daies.

14. సమాధానములేని సమయమునసమాధానము సమాధానమని చెప్పుచు, నా ప్రజలకున్న గాయమును పైపైన మాత్రమే బాగుచేయుదురు.

16. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడుమార్గ ములలో నిలిచి చూడుడి, పురాతనమార్గములనుగూర్చి విచారించుడి, మేలుకలుగు మార్గమేది అని యడిగి అందులో నడుచుకొనుడి, అప్పుడు మీకు నెమ్మది కలుగును. అయితే వారుమేము అందులో నడుచుకొనమని చెప్పుచున్నారు.

16. The Lord seith these thingis, Stonde ye on weies, and se ye, and axe ye of elde pathis, which is the good weie; and go ye ther ynne, and ye schulen fynde refreischyng to youre soulis. And thei seiden, We schulen not go.

18. Therfor, hethene men, here ye, and, thou congregacioun, knowe, hou grete thingis Y schal do to hem.

19. భూలోకమా, వినుము; ఈ జనులు నా మాటలు వినకున్నారు, నా ధర్మశాస్త్రమును విసర్జించుచున్నారు గనుక తమ ఆలోచనలకు ఫలితమైన కీడు నేను వారిమీదికి రప్పించుచున్నాను.

19. Thou erthe, here, lo! Y schal brynge yuels on this puple, the fruit of her thouytis; for thei herden not my wordis, and castiden awei my lawe.

20. షేబనుండి వచ్చు సాంబ్రాణి నాకేల? దూరదేశమునుండి వచ్చు మధురమైన చెరుకు నాకేల? మీ దహనబలులు నాకిష్టమైనవి కావు, మీ బలులయందు నాకు సంతోషము లేదు.

20. Wherto bryngen ye to me encense fro Saba, and a tre of spicerie smellynge swetli fro a fer lond? Youre brent sacrifices ben not acceptid, and youre slayn sacrifices plesiden not me.

21. కావున యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఈ జనుల మార్గమున నేడు అడ్డురాళ్లు వేయుదును; తండ్రులేమి కుమారులేమి అందరును అవి తగిలి కూలుదురు; ఇరుగుపొరుగువారును నశించెదరు.

21. Therfor the Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal yyue fallyngis in to this puple, and fadris and sones togidere, a neiybore and kynesman, schulen falle in hem, and schulen perische.

22. యెహోవా ఈలాగు సెలవిచ్చుచున్నాడు ఉత్తర దేశమునుండి యొక జనము వచ్చుచున్నది, భూదిగంతములలోనుండి మహా జనము లేచి వచ్చుచున్నది.

22. The Lord God seith these thingis, Lo! a puple cometh fro the lond of the north, and a greet folk schal rise togidere fro the endis of erthe.

23. వారు వింటిని ఈటెను వాడనేర్చినవారు, అది యొక క్రూర జనము; వారు జాలిలేనివారు, వారి స్వరము సముద్ర ఘోషవలె నున్నది, వారు గుఱ్ఱములెక్కి సవారిచేయు వారు; సీయోను కుమారీ, నీతో యుద్ధము చేయవలెనని వారు యోధులవలె వ్యూహము తీరియున్నారు.

23. It schal take an arowe and scheld; it is cruel, and schal not haue merci; the vois therof schal sowne as the see, and thei maad redi as a man to batel schulen stie on horsis ayens thee, thou douyter of Sion.

24. దాని గూర్చిన వర్తమానము విని మా చేతులు బలహీనమగుచున్నవి, ప్రసవించు స్త్రీ వేదన పడునట్లు మేము వేదన పడుచున్నాము.

24. We herden the fame therof, oure hondis ben `a clumsid; tribulacioun hath take vs, sorewis han take vs as a womman trauelinge of child.

25. పొలములోనికి పోకుము, మార్గములో నడువకుము, శత్రువులు కత్తిని ఝుళిపించుచున్నారు, నలు దిక్కుల భయము తగులుచున్నది.

25. Nyle ye go out to the feeldis, and go ye not in the weie, for the swerd of the enemye, drede in cumpas.

26. నా జనమా, పాడు చేయువాడు హఠాత్తుగా మామీదికి వచ్చుచున్నాడు. గోనెపట్ట కట్టుకొని బూడిదె చల్లుకొనుము; ఏక కుమారుని గూర్చి దుఃఖించునట్లు దుఃఖము సలుపుము ఘోరమైన దుఃఖము సలుపుము.

26. The douytir of my puple, be thou gird with heire, and be thou spreynt togidere with aische; make to thee mourenyng of oon aloone gendrid sone, a bitter weilyng, for whi a wastere schal come sodenli on you.

27. నీవు నా జనుల మార్గమును తెలిసికొని పరీక్షించునట్లు నిన్ను వారికి వన్నెచూచువానిగాను వారిని నీకు లోహపు తుంటగాను నేను నియమించి యున్నాను. ఒ

27. I yaf thee a strong preuere in my puple, and thou schalt knowe, and preue the weie of hem.

28. వారందరు బహు ద్రోహులు, కొండె గాండ్రు, వారు మట్టిలోహము వంటివారు, వారందరు చెరుపువారు.

28. Alle these princis bowynge awei, goynge gilefuli, ben metal and irun; alle ben corrupt.

29. కొలిమితిత్తి బహుగా బుసలు కొట్టుచున్నది గాని అగ్నిలోనికి సీసమే వచ్చుచున్నది; వ్యర్థము గానే చొక్కముచేయుచు వచ్చెను. దుష్టులు చొక్కమునకు రారు.

29. The belu failide, leed is waastid in the fier, the wellere wellide in veyn; for the malices of hem ben not wastid.

30. యెహోవా వారిని త్రోసివేసెను గనుక త్రోసివేయవలసిన వెండియని వారికి పేరు పెట్టబడును.

30. Clepe ye hem repreuable siluer, for the Lord hath cast hem awei.
