1. అటుపిమ్మట ఐగుప్తురాజుయొక్క పానదాయకుడును భక్ష్యకారుడును తమ ప్రభువైన ఐగుప్తురాజు ఎడల తప్పుచేసిరి

1. And after these things, it happened, the cupbearer and the baker of the king of Egypt sinned against their lord, against the king of Egypt.

2. గనుక ఫరో పానదాయకుల అధిపతియు భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతియునైన తన యిద్దరు ఉద్యోగస్థులమీద కోపపడి

2. And Pharaoh was angry against his two eunuchs, against the chief of the cupbearers and against the chief of the bakers.

3. వారిని చెరసాలలో నుంచుటకై రాజసంరక్షక సేనాధిపతికి అప్పగించెను. అది యోసేపు బంధింపబడిన స్థలము.

3. And he gave them into custody, in the house of the chief of the executioners, into the prison house, the place where Joseph was bound.

4. ఆ సేనాధిపతి వారిని యోసేపు వశము చేయగా అతడు వారికి ఉపచారము చేసెను. వారు కొన్నిదినములు కావలిలో నుండిన తరువాత

4. And the chief of the executioners assigned Joseph to be with them, and he served them. And they were in custody many days.

5. వారిద్దరు, అనగా చెరసాలలో బంధింపబడిన ఐగుప్తురాజు యొక్క పానదాయకుడును, భక్ష్యకారుడును ఒక్కటే రాత్రియందు కలలు కనిరి; ఒక్కొక్కడు వేరు వేరు భావముల కలకనెను.

5. And they dreamed a dream, both of them, each his dream in one night, each according to the interpretation of his dream, the cupbearer and the baker who belonged to the king of Egypt, who were bound in the prison house.

6. తెల్లవారినప్పుడు యోసేపు వారి యొద్దకు వచ్చి వారిని చూడగా వారు చింతా క్రాంతులై యుండిరి.

6. And Joseph came in to them in the morning. And he looked at them, and, behold, they were sad.

7. అతడు ఎందుచేత నేడు మీ ముఖములు చిన్నబోయి యున్నవని తన యజమానుని యింట తనతో కావలి యందున్న ఫరో ఉద్యోగస్థుల నడిగెను.

7. And he asked the eunuchs of Pharaoh who were with him in custody, in the house of his lord, saying, Why are your faces sad today?

8. అందుకు వారుమేము కలలు కంటిమి; వాటి భావము చెప్పగలవారెవరును లేరని అతనితో ననగా యోసేపు వారిని చూచి భావములు చెప్పుట దేవుని అధీనమే గదా; మీరు దయచేసి ఆ కలలు నాకు వివరించి చెప్పుడనెను.

8. And they said to him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter. And Joseph said to them, Do not interpretations belong to God? Now tell it to me.

9. అప్పుడు పానదాయకుల అధిపతి యోసేపును చూచి నా కలలో ఒక ద్రాక్షావల్లి నా యెదుట ఉండెను;

9. And the chief of the cupbearers told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me.

10. ఆ ద్రాక్షావల్లికి మూడు తీగెలుండెను, అది చిగిరించినట్టు ఉండెను; దాని పువ్వులు వికసించెను; దాని గెలలు పండి ద్రాక్షఫలములాయెను.

10. And in the vine were three branches. And at its budding, it went up into blossom, its clusters ripened into grapes.

11. మరియు ఫరో గిన్నె నా చేతిలో ఉండెను; ఆ ద్రాక్షఫలములు నేను పట్టుకొని ఫరో గిన్నెలో వాటిని పిండి ఆ గిన్నె ఫరో చేతికిచ్చితినని తన కలను అతనితో వివరించి చెప్పెను.

11. And Pharaoh's cup was in my hand, and I took the grapes and pressed them into the cup of Pharaoh; and I gave the cup into the hand of Pharaoh.

12. అప్పుడు యోసేపు - దాని భావమిదే; ఆ మూడు తీగెలు మూడు దినములు;

12. And Joseph said to him, This is the interpretation: the three branches, they are three days.

13. ఇంక మూడు దినములలోగా ఫరో నీ తలను పైకెత్తి నీ ఉద్యోగము నీకు మరల ఇప్పించును. నీవు అతనికి పానదాయకుడవై యున్ననాటి మర్యాద చొప్పున ఫరో గిన్నెను అతని చేతికప్పగించెదవు

13. Yet within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head and will return you to your place. And you will give the cup of Pharaoh into his hand according to the former custom when you were his cupbearer.

14. కాబట్టి నీకు క్షేమము కలిగినప్పుడు నన్ను జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొని నాయందు కరుణించి ఫరోతో నన్నుగూర్చి మాటలాడి యీ యింటిలోనుండి నన్ను బయటికి రప్పించుము.

14. But make mention of me along with yourself, when it is well with you; and please do kindness with me and mention me to Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house.

15. ఏలయనగా నేను హెబ్రీయుల దేశములోనుండి దొంగిలబడితిని, అది నిశ్చయము. మరియు ఈ చెరసాలలో నన్ను వేయుటకు ఇక్కడ సహా నేనేమియు చేయలేదని అతనితో చెప్పెను.

15. For truly I was stolen from the land of the Hebrews; and here also I have not done anything that they should have put me into the dungeon.

16. అతడు తెలిపిన భావము మంచిదని భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతి చూచి అతనితో నిట్లనెను - నేనును కల కంటిని; ఇదిగో తెల్లని పిండివంటలుగల మూడు గంపలు నా తలమీద ఉండెను.

16. And the chief of the bakers saw that the interpretation was good. And he said to Joseph, I also in my dream saw three baskets of white bread on my head.

17. మీది గంపలో ఫరో నిమిత్తము సమస్త విధములైన పిండివంటలు ఉండెను. పక్షులు నా తలమీదనున్న ఆ గంపలో నుండి వాటిని తీసికొని తినుచుండెను.

17. And in the top basket some from all the food of Pharaoh, the work of a baker. And the birds were eating them from the basket off my head.

18. అందుకు యోసేపు - దాని భావమిదే; ఆ మూడు గంపలు మూడు దినములు

18. And Joseph answered and said, This is its interpretation: the three baskets are three days.

19. ఇంక మూడు దినములలోగా ఫరో నీ మీదనుండి నీ తలను పైకెత్తి మ్రానుమీద నిన్ను వ్రేలాడదీయించును. అప్పుడు పక్షులు నీమీద నుండి నీ మాంసమును తినివేయునని ఉత్తర మిచ్చెను.

19. Yet within three days Pharaoh will lift up your head from you and hang you on a tree, and the birds will eat your flesh off you.

20. మూడవ దినమందు జరిగినదేమనగా, ఆ దినము ఫరో జన్మదినము గనుక అతడు తన సేవకులకందరికి విందు చేయించి వారి నడుమ పానదాయకుల అధిపతి తలను భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతి తలను పైకెత్తి

20. And it happened, on the third day, the day of Pharaoh's birth, he made a feast for all his servants. And he lifted up the head of the chief of the cupbearers and the head of the chief of the bakers in the midst of his servants.

21. పానదాయకుల అధిపతి ఉద్యోగము మరల అతనికిచ్చెను గనుక అతడు ఫరోచేతికి గిన్నె నిచ్చెను.

21. And he restored the chief of the cupbearers to his cupbearer office; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.

22. మరియు యోసేపు వారికి తెలిపిన భావము చొప్పున భక్ష్యకారుల అధిపతిని వ్రేలాడదీయించెను.

22. And he hanged the chief of the bakers, as Joseph interpreted to them.

23. అయితే పానదాయకుల అధిపతి యోసేపును జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనక అతని మరచిపోయెను.

23. And the chief of the cupbearers did not mention Joseph, but forgot him.
