1. నరులు భూమిమీద విస్తరింప నారంభించిన తరువాత కుమార్తెలు వారికి పుట్టినప్పుడు

1. And it came to pass when men had begun to multiply on the face of the ground and daughters had been born to them,

2. దేవుని కుమారులు నరుల కుమార్తెలు చక్కనివారని చూచి వారందరిలో తమకు మనస్సువచ్చిన స్త్రీలను వివాహము చేసికొనిరి.

2. that the sons of God saw the daughters of men! that they were, fair, so they took to themselves wives of whomsoever they chose,

3. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నా ఆత్మ నరులతో ఎల్లప్పుడును వాదించదు; వారు తమ అక్రమ విషయములో నరమాత్రులై యున్నారు; అయినను వారి దినములు నూట ఇరువది యేండ్లగుననెను.

3. And Yahweh said My spirit shall not rule in man to times age abiding, for that, he also, is flesh, Yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

4. ఆ దినములలో నెఫీలులను వారు భూమి మీదనుండిరి; తరువాతను ఉండిరి. దేవుని కుమారులు నరుల కుమార్తెలతో పోయినప్పుడు వారికి పిల్లలను కనిరి. పూర్వకాలమందు పేరు పొందిన శూరులు వీరే.

4. The giants, were in the each in these days, and also, after that, when the sons of God began to go in unto the daughters of men, and sons were born to them, the same, were the heroes that were from age-past times the men of renown.

5. నరుల చెడుతనము భూమిమీద గొప్పదనియు, వారి హృదయము యొక్క తలంపులలోని ఊహ అంతయు ఎల్లప్పుడు కేవలము చెడ్డదనియు యెహోవా చూచి

5. Then Yahweh saw that great, was the wickedness of man in the earth, and that, every purpose of the devices of his heart, was only wicked all the day;

6. తాను భూమిమీద నరులను చేసినందుకు యెహోవా సంతాపము నొంది తన హృదయములో నొచ్చుకొనెను.

6. and it grieved Yahweh, that he had made man in the earth, and he took sorrow unto his heart.

7. అప్పుడు యెహోవా నేను సృజించిన నరులును నరులతోకూడ జంతువులును పురుగులును ఆకాశ పక్ష్యాదులును భూమిమీద నుండకుండ తుడిచివేయుదును; ఏలయనగా నేను వారిని సృష్టించినందుకు సంతాపము నొందియున్నాననెను

7. And Yahweh said I must wipe off man whom I created from off the face of the ground, from man unto beast unto creeping thing, and unto the bird of the heavens, for I am grieved that I made them.

8. అయితే నోవహు యెహోవా దృష్టియందు కృప పొందినవాడాయెను.

8. But, Noah, had found favour in the eyes, of Yahweh.

9. నోవహు వంశావళి యిదే. నోవహు నీతిపరుడును తన తరములో నిందారహితుడునై యుండెను. నోవహు దేవునితో కూడ నడచినవాడు.

9. These, are the generations of Noah, Noah, was, a righteous man blameless, in his generations, with God, did Noah walk.

10. షేము, హాము, యాపెతను ముగ్గురు కుమారులను నోవహు కనెను.

10. And Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham and Japheth.

11. భూలోకము దేవుని సన్నిధిని చెడిపోయియుండెను; భూలోకము బలాత్కారముతో నిండియుండెను.

11. And the earth corrupted itself before God, and the earth was filled with violence,

12. దేవుడు భూలోకమును చూచినప్పుడు అది చెడిపోయి యుండెను; భూమిమీద సమస్త శరీరులు తమ మార్గమును చెరిపివేసుకొని యుండిరి.

12. And God beheld the earth, and lo! it had corrupted itself, surely all flesh had corrupted its way, on the earth.

13. దేవుడు నోవహుతో సమస్త శరీరుల మూలముగా భూమి బలాత్కారముతో నిండియున్నది గనుక నా సన్నిధిని వారి అంతము వచ్చియున్నది; ఇదిగో వారిని భూమితోకూడ నాశనము చేయుదును.

13. So God said unto Noah: the end of all flesh, hath come in before me, for, filled, is the earth with violence, because of them, behold me, then, destroying them with the earth.

14. చితిసారకపు మ్రానుతో నీకొరకు ఓడను చేసికొనుము. అరలు పెట్టి ఆ ఓడను చేసి లోపటను వెలుపటను దానికి కీలు పూయవలెను.

14. Make for thee an ark of timbers of gopher, Grooms, shalt thou make with the ark, and-thou shalt cover it within and without with pitch.

15. నీవు దాని చేయవలసిన విధమిది; ఆ ఓడ మూడువందల మూరల పొడుగును ఏబది మూరల వెడల్పును ముప్పది మూరల యెత్తును గలదై యుండవలెను.

15. And, this, is how thou shalt make it, three hundred cubits, the length of the ark, fifty cubits, the breadth thereof, and thirty cubits the height thereof.

16. ఆ ఓడకు కిటికీ చేసి పైనుండి మూరెడు క్రిందికి దాని ముగించవలెను; ఓడ తలుపు దాని ప్రక్కను ఉంచవలెను; క్రింది అంతస్థు రెండవ అంతస్థు మూడవ అంతస్థు గలదిగా దాని చేయవలెను.

16. A place for light, shalt thou make to the ark and to a cubit, shalt thou finish it upwards, and the opening of the ark in the side thereof, shalt thou put, with lower, second and third stories, shalt thou make it.

17. ఇదిగో నేనే జీవ వాయువుగల సమస్త శరీరులను ఆకాశముక్రింద నుండకుండ నాశము చేయుటకు భూమిమీదికి జలప్రవాహము రప్పించుచున్నాను. లోకమందున్న సమస్తమును చనిపోవును;

17. And, I, behold me! bringing in the flood even waters upon the earth, to destroy all flesh wherein is the spirit of life, from under the heavens, everything that is in the earth, shall cease to breathe:

18. అయితే నీతో నా నిబంధన స్థిరపరచుదును; నీవును నీతోకూడ నీ కుమారులును నీ భార్యయు నీ కోడండ్రును ఆ ఓడలో ప్రవేశింపవలెను.

18. therefore will I establish my covenant with thee, and thou shalt enter into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons wives, with thee.

19. మరియు నీతోకూడ వాటిని బ్రదికించి యుంచుకొనుటకు సమస్త జీవులలో, అనగా సమస్త శరీరులయొక్క ప్రతి జాతిలోనివి రెండేసి చొప్పున నీవు ఓడలోనికి తేవలెను; వాటిలో మగదియు ఆడుదియు నుండవలెను.

19. Moreover of all the living creatures of all flesh two of each, shalt thou bring into the ark to keep alive with thee, male and female, shall they be.

20. నీవు వాటిని బ్రది కించి యుంచుకొనుటకై వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము పక్షులలోను, వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము జంతువుల లోను, వాటి వాటి జాతుల ప్రకారము నేలను ప్రాకు వాటన్నిటిలోను, ప్రతి జాతిలో రెండేసి చొప్పున నీ యొద్దకు అవి వచ్చును.

20. Of the bird after its kind and of the beast after its kind, and of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of each, shall come in unto thee. for keeping alive.

21. మరియు తినుటకు నానావిధములైన ఆహారపదార్థములను కూర్చుకొని నీ దగ్గర ఉంచుకొనుము; అవి నీకును వాటికిని ఆహారమగునని చెప్పెను.

21. But thou, take to thee of all food that is eaten, and gather it unto thee, and it shall be for thee and for them for food.

22. నోవహు అట్లు చేసెను; దేవుడు అతని కాజ్ఞాపించిన ప్రకారము యావత్తు చేసెను.

22. And Noah did so , according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
