1. యెహోవా తన్ను సౌలుచేతిలోనుండియు, తనశత్రువులందరి చేతిలోనుండియు తప్పించిన దినమున దావీదు ఈ గీత వాక్యములను చెప్పియెహోవాను స్తోత్రించెను. అతడిట్లనెను.

1. And David spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day {that} the LORD had delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul:

2. యెహోవా నా శైలము, నా కోట, నా రక్షకుడు.

2. And he said, The LORD {is} my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

3. నా దుర్గము, నేను ఆయనను ఆశ్రయించుదును. నా కేడెము నా రక్షణశృంగమునా ఉన్నతదుర్గము నా ఆశ్రయస్థానము. ఆయనే నాకు రక్షకుడుబలాత్కారులనుండి నన్ను రక్షించువాడవు నీవే.

3. The God of my rock; in him will I trust: {he is} my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my preserver; thou savest me from violence.

4. కీర్తనీయుడైన యెహోవాకు నేను మొఱ్ఱ పెట్టితిని నా శత్రువుల చేతిలోనుండి ఆయన నన్ను రక్షించెను.

4. I will call on the LORD, {who is} worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies.

5. మృత్యువుయొక్క అలలు నన్ను చుట్టుకొనగనువరదపొర్లువలె భక్తిహీనులు నా మీదికి వచ్చి నన్ను బెదరించగను

5. When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly-men made me afraid;

6. పాతాళపాశములు నన్ను అరికట్టగను మరణపు ఉరులు నన్ను ఆవరించగను

6. The sorrows of hell encompassed me; the snares of death seized me;

7. నా శ్రమలో నేను యెహోవాకు మొఱ్ఱ పెట్టితిని నా దేవుని ప్రార్థన చేసితిని ఆయన తన ఆలయములో ఆలకించి నా ప్రార్థన అంగీకరించెనునా మొఱ్ఱ ఆయన చెవులలో చొచ్చెను.

7. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry {entered} into his ears.

8. అప్పుడు భూమి కంపించి అదిరెనుపరమండలపు పునాదులు వణకెనుఆయన కోపింపగా అవి కంపించెను.

8. Then the earth shook and trembled: the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.

9. ఆయన నాసికారంధ్రములలోనుండి పొగ పుట్టెనుఆయన నోటనుండి అగ్నివచ్చి దహించెనునిప్పు కణములను రాజబెట్టెను.

9. There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.

10. మేఘములను వంచి ఆయన వచ్చెనుఆయన పాదముల క్రింద గాఢాంధకారము కమ్మియుండెను.

10. He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness {was} under his feet.

11. కెరూబుమీద ఎక్కి ఆయన యెగిరి వచ్చెను. గాలి రెక్కలమీద ప్రత్యక్షమాయెను.

11. And he rode upon a cherub, and flew: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind.

12. గుడారమువలె అంధకారము తనచుట్టు వ్యాపింపజేసెను. నీటిమబ్బుల సముదాయములను, ఆకాశపు దట్టపు మేఘములను వ్యాపింపజేసెను.

12. And he made darkness pavilions around him, dark waters, {and} thick clouds of the skies.

13. ఆయన సన్నిధికాంతిలోనుండి నిప్పుకణములు పుట్టెను.

13. Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled.

14. యెహోవా ఆకాశమందు గర్జించెను సర్వోన్నతుడు ఉరుముధ్వని పుట్టించెను.

14. The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice.

15. తనబాణములను ప్రయోగించి శత్రువులను చెదరగొట్టెనుమెరుపులను ప్రయోగించి వారిని తరిమివేసెనుయెహోవా గద్దింపునకుతన నాసికారంధ్రముల శ్వాసము వడిగావిడువగా ఆయన గద్దింపునకుప్రవాహముల అడుగుభాగములు కనబడెను

15. And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.

16. భూమి పునాదులు బయలుపడెను.

16. And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were laid open, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

17. ఉన్నతస్థలములనుండి చెయ్యి చాపి ఆయన నన్ను పట్టుకొనెనునన్ను పట్టుకొని మహా జలరాసులలోనుండి తీసెను.

17. He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;

18. బలవంతులగు పగవారు, నన్ను ద్వేషించువారు, నాకంటె బలిష్ఠులై యుండగా వారి వశమునుండి ఆయన నన్ను రక్షించెను.

18. He delivered me from my strong enemy, from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me.

19. ఆపత్కాలమందు వారు నామీదికి రాగా యెహోవా నన్ను ఆదుకొనెను. విశాలమైన స్థలమునకు నన్ను తోడుకొని వచ్చెను.

19. They fell upon me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my support.

20. నేను ఆయనకు ఇష్టుడను గనుక ఆయన నన్ను తప్పిం చెను.

20. He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

21. నా నీతినిబట్టి ఆయన నాకు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చెను నా నిర్దోషత్వమునుబట్టియే నాకు ప్రతిఫల మిచ్చెను.

21. The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me.

22. యెహోవా మార్గములను నేను అనుసరించుచున్నాను. భక్తిహీనుడనై నా దేవుని విడచినవాడను కాను.

22. For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.

23. ఆయన న్యాయవిధుల నన్నిటిని నేను లక్ష్యపెట్టుచున్నాను ఆయన కట్టడలను త్రోసివేసిన వాడనుకాను.

23. For all his judgments {were} before me: and {as for} his statutes, I did not depart from them.

24. దోషక్రియలు నేను చేయనొల్లకుంటిని ఆయన దృష్టికి యథార్థుడనైతిని.

24. I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from my iniquity.

25. కావున నేను నిర్దోషినై యుండుట యెహోవా చూచెను తన దృష్టికి కనబడిన నా చేతుల నిర్దోషత్వమునుబట్టి నాకు ప్రతిఫలమిచ్చెను.

25. Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye-sight.

26. దయగలవారియెడల నీవు దయ చూపించుదువు యథార్థవంతులయెడల నీవు యథార్థవంతుడవుగానుందువు.

26. With the merciful thou wilt show thyself merciful, {and} with the upright man thou wilt show thyself upright.

27. సద్భావముగల వారియెడల నీవు సద్భావము చూపుదువు మూర్ఖులయెడల నీవు వికటముగా నుందువు.

27. With the pure thou wilt show thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt contend.

28. శ్రమపడువారిని నీవు రక్షించెదవు గర్విష్ఠులకు విరోధివై వారిని అణచి వేసెదవు

28. And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thy eyes {are} upon the haughty, {that} thou mayest bring {them} down.

29. యెహోవా, నీవు నాకు దీపమై యున్నావు యెహోవా చీకటిని నాకు వెలుగుగా చేయును.

29. For thou {art} my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness.

30. నీ సహాయముచేత నేను సైన్యములను జయింతును నా దేవుని సహాయమువలన నేను ప్రాకారములను దాటుదును.

30. For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall.

31. దేవుడు యథార్థవంతుడు యెహోవా వాక్కు నిర్మలము ఆయన శరణుజొచ్చువారికందరికి ఆయన కేడెము.

31. {As for} God, his way {is} perfect; the word of the LORD {is} tried: he {is} a buckler to all them that trust in him.

32. యెహోవా తప్ప దేవుడేడి? మన దేవుడు తప్ప ఆశ్రయదుర్గమేది?

32. For who {is} God, save the LORD? and who {is} a rock, save our God?

33. దేవుడు నాకు బలమైన కోటగా ఉన్నాడు ఆయన తన మార్గమునందు యథార్థవంతులను నడి పించును.

33. God {is} my strength {and} power: and he maketh my way perfect.

34. ఆయన నా కాళ్లు జింకకాళ్లవలె చేయును ఎత్తయిన స్థలములమీద నన్ను నిలుపును.

34. He maketh my feet like hinds' {feet}: and setteth me upon my high places.

35. నా చేతులకు యుద్ధముచేయ నేర్పువాడు ఆయనే నా బాహువులు ఇత్తడి విల్లును ఎక్కు బెట్టును.

35. He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by my arms.

36. నీవు నీ రక్షణ కేడెమును నాకు అందించుదువు నీ సాత్వికము నన్ను గొప్పచేయును.

36. Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great.

37. నా పాదములకు చోటు విశాలపరచుదువు నా చీలమండలు బెణకలేదు.

37. Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet have not slipped.

38. నా శత్రువులను తరిమి నాశనము చేయుదును వారిని నశింపజేయువరకు నేను తిరుగను.

38. I have pursued my enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them.

39. నేను వారిని మింగివేయుదును వారిని తుత్తినియలుగా కొట్టుదును వారు నా పాదముల క్రింద పడి లేవలేకయుందురు.

39. And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they have fallen under my feet.

40. యుద్ధమునకు బలము నీవు నన్ను ధరింపజేయుదువు నామీదికి లేచినవారిని నీవు అణచివేయుదువు.

40. For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me.

41. నా శత్రువులను వెనుకకు మళ్లచేయుదువు నన్ను ద్వేషించువారిని నేను నిర్మూలము చేయుదును.

41. Thou hast also given me the necks of my enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me.

42. వారు ఎదురు చూతురు గాని రక్షించువాడు ఒకడును లేకపోవును వారు యెహోవాకొరకు కనిపెట్టుకొనినను ఆయన వారికి ప్రత్యుత్తరమియ్యకుండును.

42. They looked, but {there was} none to save; {even} to the LORD, but he answered them not.

43. నేల ధూళివలె వారిని నలుగగొట్టెదను పొడిగా వారిని కొట్టెదను వీధిలోని పెంటవలె నేను వారిని పారపోసి అణగద్రొక్కెదను.

43. Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I stamped them as the mire of the street, {and} spread them abroad.

44. నా ప్రజల కలహములలో పడకుండ నీవు నన్నువిడిపించితివి జనులకు అధికారిగా నన్ను నిలిపితివి నేను ఎరుగని జనులు నన్ను సేవించెదరు.

44. Thou also hast delivered me from the strivings of my people, thou hast kept me {to be} head of the heathen: a people {which} I knew not shall serve me.

45. అన్యులు నాకు లోబడినట్టు వేషము వేయుదురు వారు నన్నుగూర్చి వినిన మాత్రముచేత నాకు విధేయులగుదురు

45. Strangers shall submit themselves to me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient to me.

46. అన్యులు దుర్బలులై వణకుచు తమ దుర్గములను విడచి వచ్చెదరు.

46. Strangers shall fade away, and they shall tremble from their close places.

47. యెహోవా జీవముగలవాడు నా ఆశ్రయదుర్గమైనవాడు స్తోత్రార్హుడు నాకు రక్షణాశ్రయ దుర్గమైన దేవుడు మహోన్నతుడగును గాక

47. The LORD liveth; and blessed {be} my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.

48. ఆయన నా నిమిత్తము ప్రతిదండన చేయు దేవుడు ఆయన నా నిమిత్తము పగ తీర్చు దేవుడు జనములను నాకు లోపరచువాడు ఆయనే.

48. It {is} God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,

49. ఆయనే నా శత్రువుల చేతిలోనుండి నన్ను విడిపించును నామీదికి లేచినవారికంటె ఎత్తుగా నీవు నన్ను హెచ్చించుదువు. బలాత్కారము చేయువారి చేతిలోనుండి నీవు నన్ను విడిపించుదువు.

49. And that bringeth me forth from my enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

50. అందువలన యెహోవా, అన్యజనులలో నేను నిన్ను ఘనపరచెదను. నీ నామకీర్తన గానముచేసెదను.
రోమీయులకు 15:9

50. Therefore I will give thanks to thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises to thy name.

51. నీవు నియమించిన రాజునకు గొప్ప రక్షణ కలుగ జేయువాడవు అభిషేకించిన దావీదునకును అతని సంతానమున కును నిత్యము కనికరము చూపువాడవు.

51. {He is} the tower of salvation for his king: and {he} showeth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
