1. Solomon began to build the temple of the Lord. It was 480 years after the people of Israel had come out of Egypt. It was in the fourth year of Solomon's rule over Israel. He started in the second month. That was the month of Ziv.

2. The temple King Solomon built for the Lord was 90 feet long. It was 30 feet wide. And it was 45 feet high.

3. పరిశుద్ధస్థలము ఎదుట నున్న ముఖమంటపము మందిరముయొక్క వెడల్పునుబట్టి యిరువది మూరల పొడవు, మందిరము ముందర అది పది మూరల వెడల్పు.

3. The temple had a porch in front of the main hall. The porch was as wide as the temple itself. It was 30 feet wide. It came out 15 feet from the front of the temple.

4. Solomon made narrow windows high up in the temple walls.

5. He built side rooms around the temple. They were built against the walls of the main hall and the Most Holy Room.

6. On the first floor the side rooms were seven and a half feet wide. On the second floor they were nine feet wide. And on the third floor they were ten and a half feet wide. Solomon made the walls of the temple thinner as they went up floor by floor. The result was ledges along the walls. So the floor beams of the side rooms rested on the ledges. The beams didn't go into the temple walls.

7. అయితే మందిరము కట్టు సమయమున అది ముందుగా సిద్ధపరచి తెచ్చిన రాళ్లతో కట్టబడెను, మందిరము కట్టు స్థలమున సుత్తె గొడ్డలిమొదలైన యినుప పనిముట్ల ధ్వని యెంత మాత్రమును వినబడలేదు.

7. All of the stones that were used for building the temple were shaped where they were cut. So hammers, chisels and other iron tools couldn't be heard where the temple was being built.

8. మధ్య అంతస్తుకు తలుపు మందిరపు కుడి పార్శ్యమున ఉండెను, మధ్య అంతస్తు గదికిని మధ్య అంతస్తు గదిలోనుండి మూడవ అంతస్తు గదికిని ఎక్కి పోవుటకు చుట్టును మెట్ల చట్రముండెను.

8. The entrance to the first floor was on the south side of the temple. A stairway led up to the second floor. From there it went on up to the third floor.

9. ఈ ప్రకారము అతడు మందిరమును కట్టించుట ముగించి మందిరమును దేవదారు దూలములతోను పలకలతోను కప్పించెను.

9. So Solomon built the temple and finished it. He made its roof out of beams and cedar boards.

10. మరియు మందిరమునకు చుట్టు గదులను కట్టించెను; ఇవి అయిదు మూరల యెత్తుగలవై దేవదారు దూలములచేత మందిరముతో దిట్టముగా సంధింపబడెను.

10. He built side rooms all along the temple. Each room was seven and a half feet high. They were joined to the temple by cedar beams.

11. అంతలో యెహోవా వాక్కు సొలొమోనునకు ప్రత్యక్షమై యీలాగు సెలవిచ్చెను.

11. A message came to Solomon from the Lord. The Lord said,

12. ఈ మందిరమును నీవు కట్టించుచున్నావే; నీవు నా కట్టడలను న్యాయవిధులను అనుసరించి నడుచుకొనుచు, నేను నియమించిన ఆజ్ఞలన్నిటిని గైకొనిన యెడల నీ తండ్రియైన దావీదుతో నేను చేసిన వాగ్దానమును నీ పక్షముగా స్థిరపరచెదను;

12. 'You are now building this temple. Follow my orders. Keep my rules. Obey all of my commands. Then I will make the promise I gave your father David come true. I will do it through you.

13. నా జనులైన ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను విడిచిపెట్టక నేను వారిమధ్య నివాసము చేసెదను.

13. I will live among my people Israel. I will not desert them.'

14. ఈ ప్రకారము సొలొమోను మందిరమును కట్టించి ముగించెను.

14. So Solomon built the temple and finished it.

15. He put cedar boards on its inside walls. He covered them from floor to ceiling. He covered the temple floor with pine boards.

16. He put up a wall 30 feet from the back of the temple. He made it with cedar boards from floor to ceiling. That formed a room inside the temple. It was the Most Holy Room.

17. The main hall in front of the room was 60 feet long.

18. మందిరములోపలనున్న దేవదారు పలకలమీద గుబ్బలును వికసించిన పువ్వులును చెక్కబడి యుండెను; అంతయు దేవదారుకఱ్ఱ పనియే, రాయి యొకటైన కనబడలేదు.

18. The inside of the temple was covered with cedar wood. Gourds and open flowers were carved on the wood. Everything was cedar. There wasn't any stone showing anywhere.

19. యెహోవా నిబంధన మందసము నుంచుటకై మందిరములోపల గర్భాలయమును సిద్ధపర చెను.

19. Solomon prepared the Most Holy Room inside the temple. That's where the ark of the covenant of the Lord would be placed.

20. గర్భాలయము లోపల ఇరువది మూరల పొడుగును ఇరువది మూరల వెడల్పును ఇరువది మూరల యెత్తును గలదై యుండెను, దీనిని మేలిమి బంగారముతో పొది గించెను, అర్జకఱ్ఱతో చేయబడిన బలిపీఠమును ఈలాగుననెపొదిగించెను.

20. The Most Holy Room was 30 feet long. It was 30 feet wide. And it was 30 feet high. Solomon covered the inside of it with pure gold. He prepared the cedar altar for burning incense. He covered it with gold.

21. ఈలాగున సొలొమోను మందిరమును లోపల మేలిమి బంగారముతో పొదిగించి గర్భాలయపు ముంగిలికి బంగారపు గొలుసులుగల తెర చేయించి బంగార ముతో దాని పొదిగించెను.

21. Solomon covered the inside of the main hall with pure gold. He placed gold chains across the front of the Most Holy Room. That room was covered with gold.

22. ఏ భాగమును విడువకుండ మందిరమంతయు బంగారముతో పొదిగించెను; గర్భాలయము నొద్దనున్న బలిపీఠమంతటిని బంగారముతో పొది గించెను.

22. So Solomon covered the inside of the whole temple with gold. He also covered the altar for burning incense with gold. It was right in front of the Most Holy Room.

23. For the Most Holy Room Solomon made a pair of cherubim. He made them out of olive wood. Each cherub was 15 feet high.

24. One wing of the first cherub was seven and a half feet long. The other wing was also seven and a half feet long. So the wings measured 15 feet from tip to tip.

25. రెండవ కెరూబును పది మూరలు కలదై యుండెను; కెరూబులు రెండింటికిని ఏక పరిమాణమును ఏకాకారమును కలిగి యుండెను.

25. The second cherub's wings also measured 15 feet from tip to tip. The two cherubim had the same size and shape.

26. ఒక కెరూబు పది మూరల యెత్తు రెండవ కెరూబు దానివలెనే యుండెను.

26. Each cherub was 15 feet high.

27. అతడు ఈ కెరూబులను గర్భాలయములో ఉంచెను. ఆ కెరూబుల రెక్కలు విప్పుకొని యొకదాని రెక్క యివతలి గోడకును రెండవదాని రెక్క అవతలి గోడకును అంటి యుండెను; గర్భాలయమందు వీటి రెక్కలు ఒకదానితో ఒకటి అంటుకొని యుండెను.

27. Solomon placed the cherubim inside the Most Holy Room in the temple. Their wings were spread out. The wing tip of one cherub touched one wall. The wing tip of the other touched the other wall. The tips of their wings touched each other in the middle of the room.

28. ఈ కెరూబులను అతడు బంగారముతో పొదిగించెను.

28. Solomon covered the cherubim with gold.

29. మరియు మందిరపు గోడ లన్నిటిమీదను లోపల నేమి వెలుపల నేమి కెరూబులను తమాల వృక్షములను వికసించిన పుష్పములను చెక్కిం చెను.

29. On the walls that were all around the temple he carved cherubim, palm trees and open flowers. He carved them on the walls of the Most Holy Room and the main hall.

30. He also covered the floors of those two rooms with gold.

31. గర్భాలయపు ద్వారములకు ఒలీవకఱ్ఱతో తలుపులు చేయించెను; ద్వారబంధముమీది కమ్మియు నిలువు కమ్ములును గోడ వెడల్పులో అయిదవ భాగము వెడల్పు ఉండెను.

31. For the entrance to the Most Holy Room he made two doors out of olive wood. Each doorpost had five sides.

32. రెండు తలుపులును ఒలీవ కఱ్ఱవి; వాటిమీద కెరూబులను తమాల వృక్షములను విక సించిన పుష్పములను చెక్కించి వాటిని బంగారముతో పొదిగించెను; కెరూబుల మీదను తమాల వృక్షముల మీదను బంగారము పొదిగించెను.

32. On the two olive wood doors he carved cherubim, palm trees and open flowers. He covered the cherubim and palm trees with hammered gold.

33. మరియు పరిశుద్ధ స్థలపు ద్వారమునకు ఒలీవకఱ్ఱతో రెండు నిలువు కమ్ములు చేయించెను; ఇవి గోడవెడల్పులో నాలుగవవంతు వెడల్పుగా నుండెను.

33. In the same way he made olive wood doorposts for the entrance to the main hall. Each doorpost had four sides.

34. రెండు తలుపులు దేవదారుకఱ్ఱతో చేయబడి యుండెను; ఒక్కొక్క తలుపునకు రెండేసి మడత రెక్కలు ఉండెను.

34. He also made two pine doors. Each door had two parts. They turned in bases that were shaped like cups.

35. వాటిమీద అతడు కెరూబులను తమాల వృక్షములను వికసించిన పుష్పములను చెక్కించి ఆ చెక్కిన వాటిమీద బంగారు రేకును పొది గించెను.

35. He carved cherubim, palm trees and open flowers on the doors. He covered the doors with gold. He hammered the gold evenly over the carvings.

36. మరియు లోపలనున్న సాలను మూడు వరుసలను చెక్కిన రాళ్లతోను ఒక వరుసను దేవదారు దూలములతోను కట్టించెను.

36. He used blocks of stone to build a wall around the inside courtyard. The first three layers of the wall were made out of stone. The top layer was made out of beautiful cedar wood.

37. నాలుగవ సంవత్సరము జీప్‌ అను మాసమున యెహోవా మందిరపు పునాది వేయబడెను;

37. The foundation of the Lord's temple was laid in Solomon's fourth year. It was in the month of Ziv.

38. పదునొకండవ సంవత్సరము బూలు అను ఎనిమిదవ మాస మున దాని యేర్పాటుచొప్పున దాని ఉపభాగములన్నిటితోను మందిరము సమాప్తమాయెను. ఏడు సంవత్సరములు సొలొమోను దానిని కట్టించుచుండెను.

38. The temple was finished in his 11th year. It was in the month of Bul. That was the eighth month. Everything was finished just as the plans required. Solomon had spent seven years building the temple.
