1. ద్వారపాలకుల విభాగమును గూర్చినది. ఆసాపుకుమారులలో కోరే కుమారుడైన మెషెలెమ్యా కోరహు సంతతివాడు.

1. [The following were] the divisions of the gatekeepers: From the Korahites: Meshelemiah son of Kore, one of the sons of Asaph.

2. మెషెలెమ్యా కుమారులు ఎవరనగా జెకర్యా జ్యేష్ఠుడు, యెదీయవేలు రెండవవాడు, జెబద్యా మూడవవాడు, యత్నీయేలు నాల్గవవాడు,

2. Meshelemiah had sons: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, Jathniel the fourth,

3. ఏలాము అయిదవవాడు, యెహోహనాను ఆరవవాడు, ఎల్యోయేనై యేడవవాడు.

3. Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, and Eliehoenai the seventh.

4. Obed-edom also had sons: Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, Sachar the fourth, Nethanel the fifth,

5. Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, and Peullethai the eighth, for God blessed him.

6. Also, to his son Shemaiah were born sons who ruled over their ancestral houses because they were strong, capable men.

7. Shemaiah's sons: Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad; his brothers Elihu and Semachiah were also capable men.

8. All of these were among the sons of Obed-edom with their sons and brothers; they were capable men with strength for the work-- 62 from Obed-edom.

9. Meshelemiah also had sons and brothers who were capable men-- 18.

10. మెరారీయులలో హోసా అనువానికి కలిగిన కుమారులు ఎవరనగా జ్యేష్ఠుడగు షిమీ; వీడు జ్యేష్ఠుడు కాకపోయినను వాని తండ్రి వాని జ్యేష్ఠ భాగస్థునిగా చేసెను,

10. Hosah, from the Merarites, also had sons: Shimri the first (although he was not the firstborn, his father had appointed him as the first),

11. రెండవవాడగు హిల్కీయా, మూడవవాడగు టెబల్యాహు, నాల్గవవాడగు జెకర్యా, హోసా కుమారులును సహోదరులును అందరు కలిసి పదుముగ్గురు.

11. Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, and Zechariah the fourth. The sons and brothers of Hosah were 13 in all.

12. ఈలాగున ఏర్పాటైన తరగతులనుబట్టి యెహోవా మందిరములో వంతుల ప్రకారముగా తమసహోదరులు చేయునట్లు సేవచేయుటకు ఈ ద్వారపాలకులు, అనగా వారిలోని పెద్దలు జవాబుదారులుగా నియ మింపబడిరి.

12. These divisions of the gatekeepers, under their leading men, had duties for ministering in the LORD's temple, just as their brothers did.

13. చిన్నలకేమి పెద్దలకేమి పితరుల యింటి వరుసనుబట్టి యొక్కొక్క ద్వారము నొద్ద కావలియుండుటకై వారు చీట్లువేసిరి.

13. They cast lots according to their ancestral houses, young and old alike, for each gate.

14. తూర్పుతట్టు కావలి షెలెమ్యాకు పడెను, వివేకముగల ఆలోచన కర్తయైన అతని కుమారుడగు జెకర్యాకు చీటివేయగా, ఉత్తరపుతట్టు కావలి వానికి పడెను,

14. The lot for the east [gate] fell to Shelemiah. They also cast lots for his son Zechariah, an insightful counselor, and his lot came out for the north [gate].

15. ఓబేదెదోమునకు దక్షిణపువైపు కావలియు అతని కుమారులకు అసుప్పీమను ఇంటికావలియు పడెను.

15. Obed-edom's was the south [gate], and his sons' [lot] was the storehouses;

16. షుప్పీమునకును హోసాకును పడమటి తట్టున నున్న షల్లెకెతు గుమ్మమునకు ఎక్కు రాజమార్గమును కాచు టకు చీటి పడెను.

16. for Shuppim and Hosah it was the west [gate] and the gate of Shallecheth on the ascending highway. There were guards stationed at every watch.

17. తూర్పున లేవీయులైన ఆరుగురును, ఉత్తరమున దినమునకు నలుగురును, దక్షిణమున దినమునకు నలుగురును, అసుప్పీము నొద్ద ఇద్దరిద్దరును,

17. There were six Levites each day on the east, four each day on the north, four each day on the south, and two pair at the storehouses.

18. బయట ద్వారమునొద్దను పడమరగా ఎక్కిపోవు రాజమార్గము నొద్దను నలుగురును, వెలుపటి త్రోవయందు ఇద్దరును ఏర్పాటైరి.

18. As for the court on the west, there were four at the highway and two at the court.

19. కోరే సంతతివారిలోను మెరారీయులలోను ద్వారము కనిపెట్టువారికి ఈలాగు వంతులాయెను.

19. Those were the divisions of the gatekeepers from the sons of the Korahites and Merarites.

20. కడకు లేవీయులలో అహీయా అనువాడు దేవుని మందిరపు బొక్కసమును ప్రతిష్ఠితములగు వస్తువుల బొక్కసములను కాచువాడుగా నియమింపబడెను.

20. From the Levites, Ahijah was in charge of the treasuries of God's temple and the treasuries for what had been dedicated.

21. లద్దాను కుమారులను గూర్చినదిగెర్షోనీయుడైన లద్దాను కుమారులు, అనగా గెర్షోనీయులై తమ పితరుల యిండ్లకు పెద్దలైయున్నవారిని గూర్చినది.

21. From the sons of Ladan, who were the sons of the Gershonites through Ladan and were the heads of families belonging to Ladan the Gershonite: Jehieli.

22. యెహీయేలీ కుమారులైన జేతామును వాని సహోదరుడైన యోవేలును యెహోవా మందిరపు బొక్కసములకు కావలికాయువారు.

22. The sons of Jehieli, Zetham and his brother Joel, were in charge of the treasuries of the LORD's temple.

23. అమ్రామీయులు ఇస్హారీయులు హెబ్రోనీయులు ఉజ్జీయేలీయులు అనువారిని గూర్చినది.

23. From the Amramites, the Izharites, the Hebronites, and the Uzzielites:

24. మోషే కుమారుడైన గెర్షోమునకు పుట్టిన షెబూయేలు బొక్కసముమీద ప్రధానిగా నియమింపబడెను.

24. Shebuel, a descendant of Moses' son Gershom, was the officer in charge of the treasuries.

25. ఎలీయెజెరు సంతతివారగు షెబూయేలు సహోదరులు ఎవరనగా వాని కుమారుడైన రెహబ్యా, రెహబ్యా కుమారుడైన యెషయా, యెషయా కుమారుడైన యెహోరాము, యెహోరాము కుమారుడైన జిఖ్రీ, జిఖ్రీ కుమారుడైన షెలోమీతు.

25. His relative through Eliezer: his son Rehabiah, his son Jeshaiah, his son Joram, his son Zichri, and his son Shelomith.

26. యెహోవా మందిరము ఘనముగా కట్టించుటకై రాజైన దావీదును పితరుల యింటి పెద్దలును సహస్రాధిపతులును శతాధిపతులును సైన్యాధిపతులును

26. This Shelomith and his brothers were in charge of all the treasuries for what had been dedicated by King David, by the heads of families who were the commanders of the thousands and of the hundreds, and by the army commanders.

27. యుద్ధములలో పట్టుకొని ప్రతిష్ఠించిన కొల్లసొమ్ము ఉన్న బొక్కసములకు షెలోమీతును వాని సహోదరులును కావలి కాయువారైరి.

27. They dedicated part of the plunder from their battles for the repair of the LORD's temple.

28. దీర్ఘదర్శి సమూయేలును కీషు కుమారుడైన సౌలును నేరు కుమారుడైన అబ్నేరును సెరూయా కుమారుడైన యోవాబును ప్రతిష్ఠించిన సొమ్మంతయు షెలోమీతు చేతిక్రిందను వాని సహోదరుల చేతిక్రిందను ఉంచబడెను.

28. All that Samuel the seer, Saul son of Kish, Abner son of Ner, and Joab son of Zeruiah had dedicated, along with everything else that had been dedicated, were in the care of Shelomith and his brothers.

29. ఇస్హారీయులనుగూర్చినదివారిలో కెన న్యాయును వాని కుమారులును బయటిపని జరిగించుటకై ఇశ్రాయేలీయులకు లేఖికులుగాను న్యాయాధిపతులుగాను నియమింపబడిరి.

29. From the Izrahites: Chenaniah and his sons had the outside duties as officers and judges over Israel.

30. హెబ్రోనీయులను గూర్చినది. హషబ్యాయును వాని సహోదరులును పరాక్రమ శాలులును వేయిన్ని యేడు వందల సంఖ్యగలవారు, వీరు యొర్దాను ఈవల పడమటి వైపుననుండు ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల మీద యెహోవా సేవను గూర్చిన వాటన్నిటి విషయములోను రాజు నియమించిన పనివిషయములోను పైవిచారణకర్తలుగా నియమింపబడిరి.

30. From the Hebronites: Hashabiah and his relatives, 1,700 capable men, had assigned duties in Israel west of the Jordan for all the work of the LORD and for the service of the king.

31. హెబ్రోనీయులను గూర్చి నది. హెబ్రోనీయుల పితరుల యింటి పెద్దలందరికి యెరీయా పెద్దయాయెను. దావీదు ఏలుబడిలో నలువదియవ సంవత్సరమున వారి సంగతి విచారింపగా వారిలో గిలాదు దేశములోని యాజేరునందున్న వారు పరాక్రమ శాలులుగా కనబడిరి.

31. From the Hebronites: Jerijah was the head of the Hebronites, according to the genealogical records of his ancestors. In the fortieth year of David's reign a search was made, and strong, capable men were found among them at Jazer in Gilead.

32. పరాక్రమశాలులగు వాని సహోదరులు రెండువేల ఏడువందలమంది యింటి పెద్దలుగా కనబడిరి, దావీదు రాజు దేవుని సంబంధమైన కార్యముల విషయములోను రాజకార్యముల విషయములోను రూబే నీయుల మీదను గాదీయులమీదను మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రపు వారి మీదను వారిని నియమించెను.

32. There were among Jerijah's relatives, 2,700 capable men who were heads of families. King David appointed them over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh as overseers in every matter relating to God and the king.
