1. తరువాత మోషే అహరోనులు వచ్చి ఫరోను చూచి ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా అరణ్యములో నాకు ఉత్సవము చేయుటకు నా జనమును పోనిమ్మని ఆజ్ఞాపించుచున్నాడనిరి.

1. Afterward Moshe and Aharon came, and said to Par`oh, 'This is what the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, says, 'Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.''

2. ఫరో నేను అతని మాట విని ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పోనిచ్చుటకు యెహోవా ఎవడు? నేను యెహోవాను ఎరుగను, ఇశ్రాయేలీయులను పోనీయననెను.

2. Par`oh said, 'Who is the LORD, that I should listen to his voice to let Yisra'el go? I don't know the LORD, and moreover I will not let Yisra'el go.'

3. అప్పుడు వారు హెబ్రీయుల దేవుడు మమ్మును ఎదుర్కొనెను, సెలవైన యెడల మేము అరణ్యములోనికి మూడు దినముల ప్రయాణమంత దూరముపోయి మా దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు బలి అర్పించుదము; లేని యెడల ఆయన మా మీద తెగులుతోనునైనను ఖడ్గముతోనైనను పడునేమో అనిరి.

3. They said, 'The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please let us go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD, our God, lest he fall on us with pestilence, or with the sword.'

4. అందుకు ఐగుప్తు రాజుమోషే అహరోనూ, ఈ జనులు తమ పనులను చేయకుండ మీరేల ఆపుచున్నారు? మీ బరువులు మోయుటకు పొండనెను.

4. The king of Mitzrayim said to them, 'Why do you, Moshe and Aharon, take the people from their work? Get back to your burdens!'

5. మరియు ఫరో ఇదిగో ఈ జనము ఇప్పుడు విస్తరించియున్నది; వారు తమ బరువులను విడిచి తీరికగా నుండునట్లు మీరు చేయుచున్నారని వారితో అనెను.

5. Par`oh said, 'Behold, the people of the land are now many, and you make them rest from their burdens.'

6. ఆ దినమున ఫరో ప్రజలపైనున్న కార్యనియామకులకును వారి నాయకులకును ఇట్లు ఆజ్ఞాపించెను

6. The same day Par`oh commanded the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,

7. ఇటుకలు చేయుటకు మీరు ఇకమీదట ఈ జనులకు గడ్డి ఇయ్యకూడదు, వారు వెళ్లి తామే గడ్డి కూర్చుకొనవలెను.

7. 'You shall no longer give the people straw to make brick, as before. Let them go and gather straw for themselves.

8. అయినను వారు ఇదివరకు చేసిన యిటుకల లెక్కనే వారి మీద మోపవలెను, దానిలో ఏమాత్రమును తక్కువ చేయవద్దు; వారు సోమరులు గనుక మేము వెళ్లి మా దేవునికి బలి నర్పించుటకు సెలవిమ్మని మొఱ పెట్టుచున్నారు.

8. The number of the bricks, which they made before, you require from them. You shall not diminish anything of it, for they are idle; therefore they cry, saying, 'Let us go and sacrifice to our God.'

9. ఆ మనుష్యులచేత ఎక్కువ పని చేయింపవలెను, దానిలో వారు కష్టపడవలెను, అబద్ధపు మాటలను వారు లక్ష్యపెట్టకూడదనెను.

9. Let heavier work be laid on the men, that they may labor therein; and don't let them pay any attention to lying words.'

10. కాబట్టి ప్రజలు కార్యనియామకులును వారి నాయకులును పోయి ప్రజలను చూచి నేను మీకు గడ్డి ఇయ్యను;

10. The taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spoke to the people, saying, This is what Par`oh says: 'I will not give you straw.

11. మీరు వెళ్లి మీకు గడ్డి యెక్కడ దొరకునో అక్కడ మీరే సంపాదించుకొనుడి, అయితే మీ పనిలో నేమాత్రమును తక్కువ చేయబడదని ఫరో సెలవిచ్చెననిరి.

11. Go yourselves, get straw where you can find it, for nothing of your work shall be diminished.'

12. అప్పుడు ప్రజలు గడ్డికి మారుగా కొయ్య కాలు కూర్చుటకు ఐగుప్తు దేశమందంతటను చెదిరిపోయిరి.

12. So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Mitzrayim to gather stubble for straw.

13. మరియు కార్యనియామకులు వారిని త్వరపెట్టి గడ్డి ఉన్నప్పటివలెనే యేనాటిపని ఆనాడే ముగించుడనిరి.

13. The taskmasters were urgent saying, 'Fulfill your work quota daily, as when there was straw!'

14. ఫరో కార్యనియామకులు తాము ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో వారిమీద ఉంచిన నాయకులను కొట్టి ఎప్పటివలె మీ లెక్క చొప్పున ఇటుకలను నిన్న నేడు మీరు ఏల చేయించలేదని అడుగగా

14. The officers of the children of Yisra'el, whom Par`oh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, 'Why haven't you fulfilled your quota both yesterday and today, in making brick as before?'

15. ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నాయకులు ఫరో యొద్దకు వచ్చి తమ దాసుల యెడల తమరెందుకిట్లు జరిగించుచున్నారు?

15. Then the officers of the children of Yisra'el came and cried to Par`oh, saying, 'Why do you deal this way with your servants?

16. తమ దాసులకు గడ్డినియ్యరు అయితే ఇటుకలు చేయుడని మాతో చెప్పుచున్నారు; చిత్తగించుము, వారు తమరి దాసులను కొట్టుచున్నారు; అయితే తప్పిదము తమరి ప్రజలయందే యున్నదని మొఱపెట్టిరి.

16. No straw is given to your servants, and they tell us, 'Make brick!' and, behold, your servants are beaten; but the fault is in your own people.'

17. అందుకతడు - మీరు సోమరులు మీరు సోమరులు అందుచేత మేము వెళ్లి యెహోవాకు బలినర్పించుటకు సెలవిమ్మని మీరడుగుచున్నారు.

17. But he said, 'You are idle! You are idle! Therefore you say, 'Let us go and sacrifice to the LORD.'

18. మీరు పొండి, పనిచేయుడి, గడ్డి మీకియ్యబడదు, అయితే ఇటుకల లెక్క మీరప్పగింపక తప్పదని చెప్పెను.

18. Go therefore now, and work, for no straw shall be given to you, yet shall you deliver the same number of bricks!'

19. మీ ఇటుకల లెక్కలో నేమాత్రమును తక్కువ చేయవద్దు, ఏనాటి పని ఆనాడే చేయవలెనని రాజు సెలవియ్యగా, ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల నాయకులు తాము దురవస్థలో పడియున్నట్లు తెలిసికొనిరి.

19. The officers of the children of Yisra'el saw that they were in trouble, when it was said, 'You shall not diminish anything from your daily quota of bricks!'

20. వారు ఫరో యొద్దనుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చుచు, తమ్మును ఎదుర్కొనుటకు దారిలో నిలిచియున్న మోషే అహరోనులను కలిసికొని

20. They met Moshe and Aharon, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Par`oh:

21. యెహోవా మిమ్ము చూచి న్యాయము తీర్చును గాక; ఫరో యెదుటను అతని దాసుల యెదుటను మమ్మును అసహ్యులనుగా చేసి మమ్ము చంపుటకై వారిచేతికి ఖడ్గమిచ్చితిరని వారితో అనగా

21. and they said to them, 'May the LORD look at you, and judge, because you have made us a stench to be abhorred in the eyes of Par`oh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us.'

22. మోషే యెహోవా యొద్దకు తిరిగి వెళ్లి ప్రభువా, నీవేల ఈ ప్రజలకు కీడు చేసితివి? నన్నేల పంపితివి?

22. Moshe returned to the LORD, and said, 'Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Why is it that you have sent me?

23. నేను నీ పేరట మాటలాడుటకు ఫరో యొద్దకు వచ్చినప్పటి నుండి అతడు ఈ జనులకు కీడే చేయుచున్నాడు, నీ జనులను నీవు విడిపింపను లేదనెను.

23. For since I came to Par`oh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people; neither have you delivered your people at all.'
