1. మనష్షే యోసేపు పెద్దకుమారుడు గనుక అతని గోత్రమునకు, అనగా మనష్షే పెద్ద కుమారుడును గిలాదు దేశాధిపతియునైన మాకీరునకు చీట్లవలన వంతువచ్చెను. అతడు యుద్ధవీరుడైనందున అతనికి గిలాదును బాషానును వచ్చెను.
1. യോസേഫിന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ മനശ്ശെയുടെ ഗോത്രത്തിന്നും ഔഹരി കിട്ടി; മനശ്ശെയുടെ ആദ്യജാതനും ഗിലെയാദിന്റെ അപ്പനും ആയ മാഖീര് യുദ്ധവീരനായിരുന്നതുകൊണ്ടു അവന്നു ഗിലെയാദും ബാശാനും ലഭിച്ചു.
2. మనష్షీయులలో మిగిలిన వారికి, అనగా అబియెజెరీయులకును హెలకీయులకును అశ్రీయేలీయులకును షెకెమీయులకును హెపెరీయులకును షెమీదీయులకును వారి వారి వంశములచొప్పున వంతువచ్చెను. వారి వంశములనుబట్టి యోసేపు కుమారుడైన మనష్షే యొక్క మగ సంతానమది.
2. മനശ്ശെയുടെ ശേഷം പുത്രന്മാരായ അബീയേസെരിന്റെ മക്കള്, ഹേലെക്കിന്റെ മക്കള്, അസ്രീയേലിന്റെ മക്കള്, ശേഖെമിന്റെ മക്കള്, ഹേഫെരിന്റെ മക്കള്, ശെമീദാവിന്റെ മക്കള് എന്നിവര്ക്കും കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി ഔഹരി കിട്ടി; ഇവര് കുടുംബംകുടുംബമായി യോസേഫിന്റെ മകനായ മനശ്ശെയുടെ മക്കള് ആയിരുന്നു.
3. మనష్షే మునిమనుమడును మాకీరు ఇనుమనుమడును గిలాదు మనుమడును హెపెరు కుమారుడునైన సెలోపెహాదుకు కుమార్తెలేగాని కుమారులు పుట్టలేదు. అతని కుమార్తెల పేరులు మహలా నోయా హొగ్లా మిల్కా తిర్సా అనునవి.
3. എന്നാല് മനശ്ശെയുടെ മകനായ മാഖീരിന്റെ മകനായ ഗിലെയാദിന്റെ മകനായ ഹേഫെരിന്റെ മകന് ശെലോഫഹാദിന്നു പുത്രിമാരല്ലാതെ പുത്രന്മാര് ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു; അവന്റെ പുത്രിമാര്ക്കും; മഹ്ള, നോവ, ഹൊഗ്ള, മില്ക്ക, തിര്സ എന്നു പേരായിരുന്നു.
4. వారు యాజకుడైన ఎలియాజరు ఎదుటికిని నూను కుమారుడైన యెహోషువ యెదుటికిని ప్రధానుల యెదుటికిని వచ్చి మా సహోదరులమధ్య మాకు స్వాస్థ్యమియ్యవలెనని యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించెనని మనవి చేయగా యెహోషువ యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చినట్టు వారి తండ్రి యొక్క సహోదరులమధ్య వారికి స్వాస్థ్యములిచ్చెను.
4. അവര് പുരോഹിതനായ എലെയാസരിന്റെയും നൂന്റെ മകനായ യോശുവയുടെയും പ്രഭുക്കന്മാരുടെയും മുമ്പില് അടുത്തുചെന്നുഞങ്ങളുടെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് ഒരു അവകാശം ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു തരുവാന് യഹോവ മോശെയോടു കല്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. അങ്ങനെ അവന് യഹോവയുടെ കല്പനപ്രകാരം അവരുടെ അപ്പന്റെ സഹോദരന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് അവര്ക്കും ഒരു അവകാശം കൊടുത്തു.
5. కాబట్టి యొర్దాను అద్దరినున్న గిలాదు బాషానులుగాక మనష్షీయులకు పదివంతులు హెచ్చుగా వచ్చెను.
5. ഇങ്ങനെ മനശ്ശെയുടെ പുത്രിമാര്ക്കും അവന്റെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് അവകാശം ലഭിച്ചതുകൊണ്ടു മനശ്ശെക്കു യോര്ദ്ദാന്നക്കരെ ഗിലെയാദ് ദേശവും ബാശാനും കൂടാതെ പത്തു ഔഹരി കിട്ടി.
6. ఏల యనగా మనష్షీయుల స్త్రీ సంతానమును వారి పురుష సంతానమును స్వాస్థ్యములు పొందెను. గిలాదుదేశము తక్కిన మనష్షీయులకు స్వాస్థ్యమాయెను.
6. മനശ്ശെയുടെ ശേഷം പുത്രന്മാര്ക്കും ഗിലെയാദ് ദേശം കിട്ടി.
7. మనష్షీయుల సరిహద్దు ఆషేరునుండి షెకెమునకు తూర్పుగానున్న మిక్మెతావరకును దక్షిణమున ఏన్తప్పూయ నివాసులవైపునకు వ్యాపించెను.
7. മനശ്ശെയുടെ അതിരോ ആശേര്മുതല് ശേഖെമിന്നു കിഴക്കുള്ള മിഖ് മെഥാത്ത്വരെ ചെന്നു വലത്തോട്ടു തിരിഞ്ഞു ഏന് -തപ്പൂഹയിലെ നിവാസികളുടെ അടുക്കലോളം നീണ്ടുകിടക്കുന്നു.
8. తప్పూయదేశము మనష్షీయులదాయెను; అయితే మనష్షీయుల సరిహద్దులోని తప్పూయ ఎఫ్రాయి మీయులదాయెను.
8. തപ്പൂഹദേശം മനശ്ശെക്കുള്ളതായിരുന്നു; എങ്കിലും മനശ്ശെയുടെ അതിരിലുള്ള തപ്പൂഹപട്ടണം എഫ്രയീമ്യര്ക്കും ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു.
9. ఆ సరిహద్దు కానాయేటి దక్షిణ దిక్కున ఆ యేటివరకు వ్యాపించెను. మనష్షీయుల ఊళ్లలో ఆ ఊళ్లు ఎఫ్రాయిమీయులకు కలిగెను; అయితే మనష్షీయుల సరిహద్దు ఆ యేటికి ఉత్తరముగా సముద్రము వరకు వ్యాపించెను. దక్షిణ భూమి ఎఫ్రాయిమీయుల కును ఉత్తరభూమి మనష్షీయులకును కలిగెను.
9. പിന്നെ ആ അതിര് കാനാതോട്ടിങ്കലേക്കു തോട്ടിന്റെ തെക്കുകൂടി ഇറങ്ങുന്നു. ഈ പട്ടണങ്ങള് മനശ്ശെയുടെ പട്ടണങ്ങള്ക്കിടയില് എഫ്രയീമിന്നുള്ളവ; മനശ്ശെയുടെ അതിര് തോട്ടിന്റെ വടക്കുവശത്തുകൂടി ചെന്നു സമുദ്രത്തിങ്കല് അവസാനിക്കുന്നു.
10. సముద్రము వారి సరిహద్దు; ఉత్తరదిక్కున అది ఆషేరీయుల సరిహద్దుకును, తూర్పుదిక్కున ఇశ్శాఖారీయుల సరిహద్దుకును నడిచెను.
10. തെക്കുഭാഗം എഫ്രയീമിന്നും വടക്കുഭാഗം മനശ്ശെക്കും ഉള്ളതു. സമുദ്രം അവന്റെ അതിര് ആകുന്നു;
11. ఇశ్శాఖారీయుల ప్రదేశములోను ఆషేరీయుల ప్రదేశములోను బేత్షెయాను దాని పురములును ఇబ్లెయామును దాని పురములును దోరు నివాసులును దాని పురములును ఏన్దోరు నివాసులును దాని పురములును తానాకు నివాసులును దాని పురములును మెగిద్దో నివాసులును దాని పురములును, అనగా మూడు కొండల ప్రదేశము మనష్షీయులకు కలిగి యున్నది.
11. അതു വടക്കു ആശേരിനോടും കിഴക്കു യിസ്സാഖാരിനോടും തൊട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു. യിസ്സാഖാരിലും ആശേരിലും മനശ്ശെക്കു ബേത്ത്-ശെയാനും അതിന്റെ അധീനനഗരങ്ങളും യിബ്ളെയാമും അതിന്റെ അധീനനഗരങ്ങളും ദോര്നിവാസികളും അതിന്റെ അധീനനഗരങ്ങളും ഏന് -ദോര്നിവാസികളും അതിന്റെ അധീനനഗരങ്ങളും താനാക് നിവാസികളും അതിന്റെ അധീനനഗരങ്ങളും മെഗിദ്ദോനിവാസികളും അതിന്റെ അധീനനഗരങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; മൂന്നു മേടുകള് തന്നേ.

12. എന്നാല് മനശ്ശെയുടെ മക്കള്ക്കു ആ പട്ടണങ്ങളിലെ നിവാസികളെ നീക്കിക്കളവാന് കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല; കനാന്യര്ക്കും ആ ദേശത്തില് തന്നേ പാര്പ്പാനുള്ള താല്പര്യം സാധിച്ചു.
13. ఇశ్రాయేలీయులు బలవంతులైన తరువాత వారు కనానీయుల చేత వెట్టిపనులు చేయించుకొనిరి కాని వారి దేశమును పూర్తిగా స్వాధీనపరచుకొనలేదు.
13. എന്നാല് യിസ്രായേല്മക്കള് ബലവാന്മാരായി തീര്ന്നപ്പോള് അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളയാതെ അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു ഊഴിയവേല ചെയ്യിച്ചു.
14. అప్పుడు యోసేపు పుత్రులు యెహోషువతో మాకేల ఒక్క చీటితో ఒక్క వంతునే స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చితివి? మేము ఒక గొప్ప జనమేగదా? ఇదివరకు యెహోవా మమ్మును దీవించెనని మనవిచేయగా
14. അനന്തരം യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കള് യോശുവയോടുയഹോവ ഇതുവരെ ഞങ്ങളെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചു ഞങ്ങള് ഒരു വലിയ ജനമായി തീര്ന്നിരിക്കെ ഒരു നറുക്കും ഔഹരിയും മാത്രം നീ ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു തന്നതു എന്തു എന്നു ചോദിച്ചു.
15. యెహోషువ మీరు గొప్ప జనము గనుక ఎఫ్రాయిమీయుల యొక్క మన్యము మీకు ఇరుకుగా నున్న యెడల మీరు అడవికి పోయి అక్కడ పెరిజ్జీయుల దేశములోను రెఫాయీయుల దేశములోను మీకు మీరే చెట్లు నరకుకొనుడని వారితో చెప్పెను.
15. യോശുവ അവരോടുനിങ്ങള് വലിയൊരു ജനം എങ്കില് എഫ്രയീംപര്വ്വതം നിങ്ങള്ക്കു വിസ്താരം പോരാത്തതാകകൊണ്ടു കാട്ടുപ്രദേശത്തു ചെന്നു പെരിസ്യരുടെയും മല്ലന്മാരുടെയും ദേശത്തു കാടുവെട്ടി സ്ഥലം എടുത്തു കൊള്വിന് എന്നു ഉത്തരം പറഞ്ഞു.
16. అందుకు యోసేపు పుత్రులు ఆ మన్యము మాకుచాలదు; అదియుగాక పల్లపుచోటున నివసించు కనానీయుల కందరికి, అనగా బేత్షెయానులోని వారికిని దాని పురముల లోని వారికిని యెజ్రెయేలు లోయలోని వారికిని ఇనుప రథములున్నవనిరి.
16. അതിന്നു യോസേഫിന്റെ മക്കള്മലനാടു ഞങ്ങള്ക്കു പോരാ; ബേത്ത്-ശെയാനിലും അതിന്റെ അധീനനഗരങ്ങളിലും യിസ്രായേല് താഴ്വരയിലും ഇങ്ങനെ താഴ്വീതി പ്രദേശത്തു പാര്ക്കുംന്ന കനാന്യര്ക്കൊക്കെയും ഇരിമ്പു രഥങ്ങള് ഉണ്ടു എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു.
17. అప్పడు యెహోషువ యోసేపు పుత్రులైన ఎఫ్రాయిమీయులను మనష్షీయులను చూచిమీరు ఒక విస్తారజనము,
17. യോശുവ യോസേഫിന്റെ കുലമായ എഫ്രയീമിനോടും മനശ്ശെയോടും പറഞ്ഞതുനിങ്ങള് വലിയോരു ജനം തന്നേ; മഹാശക്തിയും ഉണ്ടു; നിങ്ങള്ക്കു ഒരു ഔഹരിമാത്രമല്ല വരേണ്ടതു.
18. మీకు అధికబలముగలదు, మీకు ఒక్కవంతు చీటియేకాదు; ఆ కొండ మీదే, అది అరణ్యము గనుక మీరు దానిని నరకుడి, అప్పుడు ఆ ప్రదేశము మీదగును; కనానీయులకు ఇనుపరథములుండినను వారు బలవంతులైయుండినను మీరు వారి దేశమును స్వాధీన పరచుకొనగలరనెను.
18. മലനാടു നിനക്കുള്ളതു ആയിരിക്കേണം; അതു കാടാകുന്നു എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള് അതു വെട്ടിത്തെളിക്കേണം അതിന്റെ അറുതിപ്രദേശങ്ങളും നിങ്ങള്ക്കുള്ളവ തന്നേ; കനാന്യര് ഇരിമ്പുരഥങ്ങള് ഉള്ളവരും ബലവാന്മാരും ആകുന്നു എങ്കിലും നിങ്ങള് അവരെ നീക്കിക്കളയും.
