1. లేనివార్తను పుట్టింపకూడదు; అన్యాయపు సాక్ష్యమును పలుకుటకై దుష్టునితో నీవు కలియకూడదు;

1. Thou shalt not utter a false report. Do not lay thy hand with a lawless man, to become a witness helping forward violence and wrong.

2. దుష్కార్యము జరిగించుటకై సమూహమును వెంబడించవద్దు, న్యాయమును త్రిప్పి వేయుటకు సమూహముతో చేరి వ్యాజ్యెములో సాక్ష్యము పలుకకూడదు;

2. Thou shalt not follow multitudes to commit wickedness, neither shalt thou answer in a quarrel, so as to turn away after multitudes to mislead,

3. వ్యాజ్యెమాడువాడు బీదవాడైనను వానియెడల పక్షపాతముగా నుండకూడదు.

3. Even a poor man, shalt thou not prefer in his quarrel.

4. నీ శత్రువుని యెద్దయినను గాడిదయైనను తప్పిపోవు చుండగా అది నీకు కనబడినయెడల అగత్యముగా దాని తోలుకొనివచ్చి వాని కప్పగింపవలెను.

4. When thou meetest the ox of thine enemy, or his ass, going astray, thou shalt, surely bring it back, to him.

5. నీవు నీ పగవాని గాడిద బరువుక్రింద పడియుండుట చూచి, దానినుండి తప్పింపక యుందునని నీవు అనుకొనినను అగత్యముగా వానితో కలిసి దాని విడిపింపవలెను.

5. When thou seest the ass of him that hateth thee sinking down under his burden, and mightest have foreborne to unload him, thou shalt surely help him to unload,

6. దరిద్రుని వ్యాజ్యెములో న్యాయము విడిచి తీర్పు తీర్చకూడదు

6. Thou shalt not pervert the vindication of thy needy one in his quarrel.

7. అబద్ధమునకు దూరముగానుండుము; నిరపరాధినైనను నీతిమంతునినైనను చంపకూడదు; నేను దుష్టుని నిర్దోషినిగా ఎంచను.

7. From a matter of falsehood, thou shalt keep far away, and the innocent one and the righteous, do not thou slay, for I will not justify a lawless imam

8. లంచము తీసి కొనకూడదు; లంచము దృష్టిగలవానికి గ్రుడ్డితనము కలుగజేసి, నీతిమంతుల మాటలకు అపార్థము చేయించును.

8. And, a bribe, shalt thou not take, for the bribe, blindeth the clear-sighted, and perverteth the words of the righteous.

9. పరదేశిని బాధింపకూడదు; పరదేశి మనస్సు ఎట్లుండునో మీరెరుగుదురు; మీరు ఐగుప్తుదేశములో పరదేశులై యుంటిరిగదా.

9. And a sojourner, shalt thou not drive away, seeing that, ye yourselves, know the, soul of a sojourner; for sojourners, became ye in the laud of Egypt.

10. ఆరు సంవత్సరములు నీ భూమిని విత్తి దాని పంట కూర్చుకొనవలెను.

10. And six years, shalt thou sow thy land, and shalt gather the yield thereof;

11. ఏడవ సంవత్సరమున దానిని బీడు విడువవలెను. అప్పుడు నీ ప్రజలలోని బీదలు తినిన తరువాత మిగిలినది అడవి మృగములు తినవచ్చును. నీ ద్రాక్షతోట విషయములోను నీ ఒలీవతోట విషయములోను ఆలాగుననే చేయవలెను.

11. but the seventh year, shalt thou let it rest and be still so shall the needy of thy people eat, and what they leave, shall the wild-beast of the field eat, in like manner, shalt thou deal with thy vineyard with thine oliveyard.

12. ఆరు దినములు నీ పనులు చేసి, నీ యెద్దును నీ గాడిదయు నీ దాసి కుమారుడును పరదేశియు విశ్రమించునట్లు ఏడవ దినమున ఊరక యుండవలెను.

12. Six days, shalt thou do thy work, but on the seventh day, shalt thou keep sabbath, that thine ox may rest and thine ass, and that the son of thy handmaid and the sojourner may be refreshed.

13. నేను మీతో చెప్పినవాటినన్నిటిని జాగ్రత్తగా గైకొనవలెను; వేరొక దేవుని పేరు ఉచ్చరింప కూడదు; అది నీ నోటనుండి రానియ్య తగదు.

13. And, in all that I have said unto thee, shalt thou take heed to thyself, and the name of other gods, shalt thou not mention, it shall not be heard upon thy mouth.

14. సంవత్సరమునకు మూడుమారులు నాకు పండుగ ఆచరింపవలెను.

14. Three times, shalt thou keep festival to me, in the year.

15. పులియని రొట్టెల పండుగ నాచరింపవలెను. నేను నీ కాజ్ఞాపించినట్లు ఆబీబు నెలలో నీవు ఐగుప్తులోనుండి బయలుదేరి వచ్చితివి గనుక ఆ నెలలో నియామక కాలమందు ఏడు దినములు పులియని రొట్టెలను తినవలెను. నా సన్నిధిని ఎవడును వట్టిచేతులతో కనబడకూడదు.

15. The festival of unleavened cakes, shalt thou keep, seven days, shalt thou eat unleavened cakes, as I commanded thee at the appointed time of the month Abib; for, therein, camest thou forth out of Egypt, and they shall not see my face, empty-handed.

16. నీవు పొలములో విత్తిన నీ వ్యవసాయముల తొలిపంట యొక్క కోతపండుగను, పొలములోనుండి నీ వ్యవసాయ ఫలములను నీవు కూర్చుకొనిన తరువాత సంవత్సరాంత మందు ఫలసంగ్రహపు పండుగను ఆచరింపవలెను.

16. And the festival of harvest with the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou shalt sow in the field, And the festival of ingathering at the outgoing of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field.

17. సంవత్సరమునకు మూడుమారులు పురుషులందరు ప్రభువైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని కనబడవలెను.

17. Three times in the year, shall all thy males see the face of the Lord, Yahweh.

18. నా బలుల రక్తమును పులిసిన ద్రవ్యముతో అర్పింపకూడదు. నా పండుగలో నర్పించిన క్రొవ్వు ఉదయము వరకు నిలువ యుండకూడదు.

18. Thou shalt not offer with anything leavened, the blood of my sacrifice, neither shall the fat of my festival-sacrifice remain until morning.

19. నీ భూమి ప్రథమ ఫలములో మొదటివాటిని దేవుడైన యెహోవా మందిరమునకు తేవలెను. మేకపిల్లను దాని తల్లిపాలతో ఉడకబెట్టకూడదు.

19. The beginning of the firstfruits of thy ground, shalt thou bring into the house of Yahweh thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in the milk of its dam.

20. ఇదిగో త్రోవలో నిన్ను కాపాడి నేను సిద్ధపరచిన చోటుకు నిన్ను రప్పించుటకు ఒక దూతను నీకు ముందుగా పంపుచున్నాను.

20. Lo! I, am sending a messenger before thee, to guard thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

21. ఆయన సన్నిధిని జాగ్రత్తగానుండి ఆయన మాట వినవలెను. ఆయన కోపము రేపవద్దు; మీ అతిక్రమములను ఆయన పరిహరింపడు, నా నామము ఆయనకున్నది.

21. Take thou heed of his presence, and hearken to his voice do not vex him, for he will not pardon your transgression, for, my name, is within him.

22. అయితే నీవు ఆయన మాటను జాగ్రత్తగా విని నేను చెప్పినది యావత్తు చేసినయెడల నేను నీ శత్రువులకు శత్రువును నీ విరోధులకు విరోధియునై యుందును.

22. But if thou wilt indeed hearken, to his voice, and so wilt do all that I may speak, then will I be an enemy to thine enemies, and an adversary to thine adversaries;

23. ఎట్లనగా నా దూత నీకు ముందుగావెళ్లుచు, అమోరీయులు హిత్తీయులు పెరిజ్జీయులు కనానీయులు హివ్వీయులు యెబూసీయులను వారున్న చోటుకు నిన్ను రప్పించును, నేను వారిని సంహరించెదను.

23. for my messenger shall go before thee, and bring thee in unto the Amorite and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Canaanite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, so will I destroy them.

24. వారి దేవతలకు సాగిలపడకూడదు, వాటిని పూజింపకూడదు; వారి క్రియలవంటి క్రియలు చేయక వారిని తప్పక నిర్మూలము చేసి, వారి విగ్రహములను బొత్తిగా పగులగొట్టవలెను.

24. Thou shalt not bow thyself down to their gods neither shalt thou be led to serve them, neither shalt thou do according to their works, but thou shalt, verily overthrow, them, and, completely break in pieces, their pillars.

25. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవానే సేవింపవలెను, అప్పుడు ఆయన నీ ఆహారమును నీ పానమును దీవించును. నేను నీ మధ్యనుండి రోగము తొలగించెదను.

25. So shall ye serve Yahweh your God, and he will bless thy bread and thy water, and I will take away sickness out of thy midst.

26. కడుపు దిగబడునదియు గొడ్డుదియు నీ దేశము లోను ఉండదు. నీ దినముల లెక్క సంపూర్తి చేసెదను.

26. There shall be nothing casting its young or barren in thy land, the number of thy days, will I make full.

27. నన్నుబట్టి మనుష్యులు నీకు భయపడునట్లు చేసెదను. నీవు పోవు సర్వ దేశములవారిని ఓడ గొట్టి నీ సమస్త శత్రువులు నీ యెదుటనుండి పారిపోవునట్లు చేసెదను.

27. My terror, will I send before thee, and will confound all the people amongst whom thou shalt come, and will deliver up all thine enemies unto thee as they flee.

28. మరియు, పెద్ద కందిరీగలను నీకు ముందుగా పంపించెదను, అవి నీ యెదుటనుండి హివ్వీయులను కనానీయులను హిత్తీయులను వెళ్లగొట్టను.

28. And I will send the hornet, before thee, and it shall drive out the Hivite, the Canaanite, and the Hittite, from before thee.

29. దేశము పాడై అడవిమృగములు నీకు విరోధముగా విస్తరింపకుండునట్లు వారిని ఒక్క సంవత్సరములోనే నీ యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టను.

29. I will not drive them out from before thee, in one year, lest the land should become a desolation, so would the wild-beast of the field multiply over thee.

30. నీవు అభివృద్ధిపొంది ఆ దేశమును స్వాధీనపరచుకొనువరకు క్రమక్రమముగా వారిని నీయెదుటనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టెదను.

30. Little by little, will I drive them out from before thee. until thou become fruitful, then shalt thou take possession of the land.

31. మరియు ఎఱ్ఱ సముద్రమునుండి ఫిలిష్తీయుల సముద్రము వరకును అరణ్యమునుండి నదివరకును నీ పొలిమేరలను ఏర్పరచెదను, ఆ దేశ నివాసులను నీ చేతి కప్పగించెదను. నీవు నీ యెదుటనుండి వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టెదవు.

31. So will I set thy bounds from the Red Sea even unto the sea of the Philistines and from the desert unto the River (Euphrates), for I will deliver into your hand the inhabitants of the land, so shalt thou drive them out from before thee.

32. నీవు వారితో నైనను వారి దేవతలతోనైనను నిబంధన చేసికొనవద్దు. నీవు వారి దేవతలను సేవించినయెడల అది నీకు ఉరియగును గనుక

32. Thou shalt not make with them or with their gods, a covenant:

33. వారు నీచేత నాకు విరోధముగా పాపము చేయింపకుండునట్లు వారు నీ దేశములో నివసింపకూడదు.

33. they shall not dwell in thy land, lest they cause thee to sin against me, for thou mightest serve their gods, verily! it would become to thee a snare!
