1. మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల యొక్క గోత్రాధిపతులతో ఇట్లనెను

1. And Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, This [is] the thing which the Lord has commanded.

2. ఇది యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞాపించిన సంగతి. ఒకడు యెహోవాకు మ్రొక్కుకొనిన యెడల, లేక తాను బద్ధుడగుటకు ప్రమాణము చేసిన యెడల, అతడు తన మాటతప్పక తన నోటనుండి వచ్చినదంతయు నెరవేర్చవలెను.
మత్తయి 5:33

2. Any man that shall vow a vow to the Lord, or swear an oath, or bind himself with an obligation upon his soul, he shall not break his word; all that shall come out of his mouth he shall do.

3. మరియు ఒక స్త్రీ బాల్యమున తన తండ్రి యింట నుండగా యెహోవాకు మ్రొక్కుకొని బద్ధురాలైన యెడల, ఆమె తండ్రి ఆమె మ్రొక్కుబడిని ఆమె కలుగజేసికొనిన బాధ్యతను విని దానిగూర్చి ఊరకొనిన యెడల, ఆమె మ్రొక్కుబడులన్నియు నిలుచును.

3. And if a woman shall vow a vow to the Lord, or bind herself with an obligation in her youth in her father's house; and her father should hear her vows and her obligations, wherewith she has bound her soul, and her father should hold his peace at her, then all her vows shall stand,

4. ఆమె తాను బద్ధురాలగుటకు పెట్టుకొనిన ఒట్టు నిలుచును.

4. and all the obligations with which she has bound her soul, shall remain to her.

5. ఆమె తండ్రి వినినదినమున ఆక్షేపణచేసిన యెడల, ఆమె మ్రొక్కుబడులలో ఏదియు, ఆమె తనమీద పెట్టుకొనిన బాధ్యతలో ఏదియు నిలువకపోవును.

5. But if her father straitly forbid [her] in the day in which he shall hear all her vows and her obligations, which she has contracted upon her soul, they shall not stand; and the Lord shall hold her guiltless, because her father forbade her.

6. ఆమె తండ్రి దానికి ఆక్షేపణచేసెను గనుక యెహోవా ఆమెను క్షమించును.

6. But if she should be indeed married, and her vows be upon her according to the utterance of her lips, in respect of [the obligations] which she has contracted upon her soul;

7. ఆమెకు వివాహమైన తరువాత ఆమె మ్రొక్కుకొనిన మ్రొక్కుబళ్లయినను, నిరాలోచనగా ఆమె తనమీద పెట్టుకొనిన ఒట్టులైనను ఆమెమీద నుండుట ఆమె భర్త విని, దాని గూర్చి వినిన దినమున అతడు ఊరకుండుట తటస్థించిన యెడల, ఆమె మ్రొక్కుబళ్లును ఆమె తనమీద పెట్టుకొనిన ఒట్టును నిలుచును.

7. and her husband should hear, and hold his peace at her in the day in which he should hear, then thus shall all her vows be binding, and her obligations, which she has contracted upon her soul shall stand.

8. ఆమె భర్త వినిన దినమందే ఆక్షేపణ చేసినయెడల, అతడు ఆమె మ్రొక్కుకొనిన మ్రొక్కుబడిని ఆమె నిరాలోచనగా తనమీద పెట్టుకొనిన ఒట్టులను రద్దుచేసినవాడగును; యెహోవా ఆమెను క్షమించును.

8. But if her husband should straitly forbid [her] in the day in which he should hear her, none of her vows or obligations which she has contracted upon her soul shall stand, because her husband has disallowed her, and the Lord shall hold her guiltless.

9. విధవరాలుగాని విడనాడబడినదిగాని తన మీద పెట్టుకొనిన ప్రతి మ్రొక్కుబడి నిలుచును.

9. And the vow of a widow and of her that is put away, whatsoever she shall bind upon her soul, shall stand to her.

10. ఆమె తన భర్తయింట ఉండి మ్రొక్కు కొనినయెడల నేమి, ప్రమాణముచేసి తనమీద ఒట్టు పెట్టుకొనిన యెడలనేమి,

10. And if her vow [be made] in the house of her husband, or the obligation upon her soul with an oath,

11. తరువాత ఆమె భర్త విని దానిగూర్చి ఆక్షేపణచేయక ఊరకుండినయెడల, ఆమె మ్రొక్కుబడులన్నియు నిలుచును; ఆమె తనమీద పెట్టుకొనిన ప్రతి ఒట్టును నిలుచును.

11. and her husband should hear, and hold his peace at her, and not disallow her, then all her vows shall stand, and all the obligations which she contracted against her soul, shall stand against her.

12. ఆమె భర్త వినిన దినమందే వాటిని బొత్తిగా రద్దు చేసినయెడల, ఆమె మ్రొక్కుబళ్లను గూర్చియు, ఆమె మీది ఒట్టును గూర్చియు ఆమె పలికినదేదియు నిలువక పోవును; ఆమెభర్త వాటిని రద్దుచేసెను గనుక యెహోవా ఆమెను క్షమించును.

12. But if her husband should utterly cancel the vow in the day in which he shall hear it, none of the things which shall proceed out of her lips in her vows, and in the obligations [contracted] upon her soul, shall stand to her; her husband has canceled them, and the Lord shall hold her guiltless.

13. ప్రతి మ్రొక్కుబడిని, తన్ను తాను దుఃఖపరచుకొందునని ప్రమాణపూర్వకముగా తన మీద పెట్టుకొనిన ప్రతి బాధ్యతను ఆమె భర్తస్థిరపరచ వచ్చును, రద్దుచేయవచ్చును.

13. Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict her soul, her husband shall confirm it to her, or her husband shall cancel it.

14. అయితే ఆమె భర్త నానాట దానిగూర్చి ఊరకొనుచు వచ్చినయెడల, వాడు ఆమె మీదనున్న ఆమె మ్రొక్కుబడులన్నిటిని ఆమె ఒట్టులన్నిటిని స్థిరపరచినవాడగును. అతడు వినిన దినమున దానిగూర్చి ఊరకుండుటవలన వాటిని స్థిరపరచెను.

14. But if he be wholly silent at her from day to day, then shall he bind upon her all her vows; and he shall confirm to her the obligations [which she has bound] upon herself, because he held his peace at her in the day in which he heard her.

15. అతడు వినిన తరువాత వాటిని బొత్తిగా రద్దు చేసినయెడల, తానే ఆమె దోష శిక్షను భరించును.

15. And if her husband should in any wise cancel [them] after the day in which he heard [them], then he shall bear his iniquity.

16. ఇవి భర్తను గూర్చియు, భార్యనుగూర్చియు, తండ్రినిగూర్చియు, బాల్యమున తండ్రి యింట నున్న కుమార్తెనుగూర్చియు యెహోవా మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన కట్టడలు.

16. These [are] the ordinances which the Lord commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, and between a father and daughter in [her] youth in the house of [her] father.
