1. నీవు స్వాధీనపరచుకొనబోవు దేశములోనికి నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నిన్ను చేర్చి బహు జనములను, అనగా సంఖ్యకును బలమునకును నిన్ను మించిన హిత్తీయులు గిర్గాషీయులు అమోరీయులు కనానీయులు పెరిజ్జీయులు హివ్వీయులు యెబూసీయులను ఏడు జనములను నీ యెదుటనుండి వెళ్లగొట్టిన తరువాత
అపో. కార్యములు 13:19

1. When the LORD thy God hath brought thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee: the Hethites, the Girgosites, the Amorites, the Cananites, the Pheresites, the Hevites and the Jebusites. Seven nations more in number and mightier than thou:

2. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారిని నీకప్ప గించునప్పుడు నీవు వారిని హతము చేయవలెను, వారిని నిర్మూలము చేయవలెను. వారితో నిబంధన చేసికొనకూడదు, వారిని కరుణింప కూడదు,

2. and when the LORD thy God hath set them before thee that thou shouldest smite them, see that thou utterly destroy them and make no covenant with them nor have compassion on them.

3. నీవు వారితో వియ్యమందకూడదు, వాని కుమారునికి నీ కుమార్తె నియ్యకూడదు, నీ కుమారునికి వాని కుమార్తెను పుచ్చుకొనకూడదు.

3. Also thou shalt make no marriages with them, neither give thy daughter unto his son nor take his daughter unto thy son.

4. నన్ను అనుసరింప కుండ ఇతర దేవతలను పూజించునట్లు నీ కుమారుని వారు మళ్లించుదురు, అందునుబట్టి యెహోవా కోపాగ్ని నీమీద రగులుకొని ఆయన నిన్ను త్వరగా నశింపజేయును.

4. For they will make your sons depart from me and serve strange gods, and then will the wrath of the LORD wax hot upon you and destroy you shortly.

5. కావున మీరు వారికి చేయవలసినదేమనగా, వారి బలిపీఠ ములను పడద్రోసి వారి విగ్రహములను పగులగొట్టి వారి దేవతాస్తంభములను నరికివేసి వారి ప్రతిమలను అగ్నితో కాల్చవలెను.

5. But thus ye shall deal with them: overthrow their altars, break down their pillars, cut down their groves and burn their images with fire.

6. నీవు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు ప్రతిష్ఠిత జనము, నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా భూమిమీదనున్న సమస్త జనములకంటె నిన్ను ఎక్కువగా ఎంచి, నిన్ను తనకు స్వకీయజనముగా ఏర్పరచుకొనెను.

6. For thou art an holy nation unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a several people unto himself of all nations that are upon the earth.

7. మీరు సర్వజనముల కంటె విస్తారజనమని యెహోవా మిమ్మును ప్రేమించి మిమ్మును ఏర్పరచు కొనలేదు. సమస్త జనములకంటె మీరు లెక్కకు తక్కు వేగదా.

7. It was not because of the multitude of you above all nations, that the LORD had lust unto you and chose you. For ye were fewest of all nations:

8. అయితే యెహోవా మిమ్మును ప్రేమించు వాడు గనుకను, తాను మీ తండ్రులకు చేసిన ప్రమాణమును నెరవేర్చువాడు గనుకను, యెహోవా బాహుబలముచేత మిమ్మును రప్పించి దాసుల గృహములో నుండియు ఐగుప్తురాజైన ఫరో చేతిలోనుండియు మిమ్మును విడిపించెను.

8. But because the LORD loved you and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, therefore he brought you out of Egypt with a mighty hand and delivered you out of the house of bondage: even from the hand of Pharao king of Egypt.

9. కాబట్టి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తానే దేవుడనియు, తన్ను ప్రేమించి తన ఆజ్ఞల ననుసరించి నడుచుకొనువారికి తన నిబంధనను స్థిరపరచువాడును వేయితరములవరకు కృపచూపువాడును నమ్మతగిన దేవుడు ననియు, తన్ను ద్వేషించువారిలో ప్రతివానిని బహిరంగ ముగా నశింపచేయుటకు వానికి దండన విధించువాడనియు నీవు తెలిసికొనవలెను.

9. Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God he is God and that a true God, which keepeth appointment and mercy unto them that love him and keep his commandments, even thorowout a thousand generations

10. ఆయన తన్ను ద్వేషించువాని విషయము ఆలస్యము చేయక బహిరంగముగా వానికి దండన విధించును

10. and rewardeth them that hate him before his face so that he bringeth them to nought, and will not defer the time unto him that hateth him but will reward him before his face.

11. కాబట్టి నేడు నేను నీకాజ్ఞాపించు ధర్మము, అనగా విధులను కట్టడలను మీరనుసరించి నడుచు కొనవలెను.

11. Keep therefore the commandments, ordinances and laws which I command you this day, that ye do them.

12. మీరు ఈ విధులను విని వాటిని అనుసరించి నడుచు కొనినయెడల నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా తాను నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన నిబంధనను నెరవేర్చి నీకు కృపచూపును

12. If ye shall hearken unto these laws and shall observe and do them, then shall the LORD thy God keep appointment with thee and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers

13. ఆయన నిన్ను ప్రేమించి ఆశీర్వదించి అభి వృద్ధిచేసి, నీకిచ్చెదనని నీ పితరులతో ప్రమాణముచేసిన దేశములో నీ గర్భఫలమును, నీ భూఫలమైన నీ సస్యమును, నీ ద్రాక్షారసమును, నీ నూనెను, నీ పశువుల మందలను, నీ గొఱ్ఱెల మందలను, మేకల మందలను దీవించును.

13. and will love thee, bless thee and multiply thee: he will bless the fruit of thy womb and the fruit of thy field, thy corn, thy wine and thy oil, the fruit of thine oxen and the flocks of thy sheep in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

14. సమస్త జనములకంటె ఎక్కువగా నీవు ఆశీర్వదింప బడుదువు. నీలో మగవానికేగాని ఆడు దానికేగాని గొడ్డుతనముండదు, నీ పశువులలోనైననుండదు.

14. Thou shalt be blessed above all nations, there shall be neither man nor woman unfruitful among you, nor anything unfruitful among your cattle.

15. యెహోవా నీయొద్దనుండి సర్వరోగములను తొలగించి, నీవెరిగియున్న ఐగుప్తు లోని కఠినమైన క్షయ వ్యాధులన్నిటిని నీకు దూరపరచి, నిన్ను ద్వేషించు వారందరిమీదికే వాటిని పంపించును.

15. Moreover the LORD will turn from thee all manner infirmities, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt (which thou knowest) upon thee, but will send them upon them that hate thee.

16. మరియు నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా నీ కప్పగించుచున్న సమస్త ప్రజలను నీవు బొత్తిగా నాశనముచేయుదువు. నీవు వారిని కటా క్షింపకూడదు, వారి దేవతలను పూజింపకూడదు, ఏలయనగా అది నీకు ఉరియగును.

16. Thou shalt bring to nought all nations which the LORD thy God delivereth thee, thine eye shall have no pity upon them neither shalt thou serve their gods, for that shall be thy decay.

17. ఈ జనములు నాకంటె విస్తారముగా ఉన్నారు, నేను ఎట్లు వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టగల నని నీవనుకొందువేమో, వారికి భయపడకుము.

17. If thou shalt say in thine heart: these nations are more than I, how can I cast them out?

18. నీ దేవు డైన యెహోవా ఫరోకును ఐగుప్తుదేశమంతటికిని చేసిన దానిని, అనగా నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిన్ను రప్పించి నప్పుడు

18. Fear them not, but remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharao and unto all Egypt,

19. నీ కన్నులు చూచిన ఆ గొప్ప శోధనలను సూచక క్రియలను మహత్కార్యములను బాహుబలమును, చాచిన చేతిని బాగుగ జ్ఞాపకము చేసికొనుము. నీకు భయము పుట్టించుచున్న ఆ జనులకందరికి నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఆలాగే చేయును.

19. and the great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs and wonders and mighty hand and stretched out arm wherewith the LORD thy God brought thee out: even so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the nations of which thou art afraid.

20. మరియు మిగిలినవారును నీ కంటబడక దాగిన వారును నశించువరకు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారి మీదికి పెద్ద కందిరీగలను పంపును.

20. Thereto, the LORD thy God will send hornets among them until they that are left, and hide them selves from thee Gbe destroyed.

21. వారిని చూచి జడియవద్దు; నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ మధ్యనున్నాడు, ఆయన భయంకరుడైన మహా దేవుడు.

21. See thou fear them not for the LORD(lord) thy God is among you a mighty God and a terrible.

22. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీ యెదుటనుండి క్రమక్రమ ముగా ఈ జనములను తొలగించును. అడవి మృగములు విస్తరించి నీకు బాధకములుగా నుండవచ్చును గనుక వారిని ఒక్కమారే నీవు నాశనము చేయతగదు, అది నీకు క్షేమకరముకాదు.

22. The LORD thy God will put out these nations before thee a little and a little: thou mayst not consume them at once lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

23. అయితే నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా వారిని నీకప్పగించి వారిని నశింపజేయువరకు వారిని బహుగా తల్లడిల్ల చేయును.

23. And the LORD(lorde) thy God shall deliver them unto thee and stir up a mighty tempest among them, until they be brought to nought.

24. ఆయన వారి రాజులను నీ చేతికప్ప గించును. నీవు ఆకాశముక్రిందనుండి వారి నామమును నశింపజేయవలెను; నీవు వారిని నశింపజేయువరకు ఏ మను ష్యుడును నీ యెదుట నిలువలేకపోవును.

24. And he shall deliver their kings into thine hand, and thou shalt destroy their names from under heaven. There shall no man stand before thee, until thou have destroyed them.

25. వారి దేవతల ప్రతిమలను మీరు అగ్నిచేత కాల్చివేయవలెను; వాటి మీదనున్న వెండిబంగారములను అపేక్షిం పకూడదు. నీవు దానివలన చిక్కుబడుదువేమో గనుక దానిని తీసికొన కూడదు. ఏలయనగా అది నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు హేయము.

25. The images of their gods thou shalt burn with fire, and see that thou covet not the silver or gold that is on them nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therewith. For it is an abomination unto the LORD thy God.

26. దానివలె నీవు శాపగ్రస్తుడవు కాకుండునట్లు నీవు హేయమైన దాని నీయింటికి తేకూడదు. అది శాపగ్రస్తమే గనుక దాని పూర్తిగా రోసి దానియందు బొత్తిగా అసహ్యపడవలెను.

26. Bring not therefore the Abomination to thine house, lest thou be a damned thing as it is: but utterly defy it and abhor it, for it is a thing that must be destroyed.
