1. యెహోవా హోరేబులో ఇశ్రాయేలీయులతో చేసిన నిబంధన గాక ఆయన మోయాబుదేశములో వారితో చేయుమని మోషేకు ఆజ్ఞాపించిన నిబంధన వాక్యములు ఇవే.

1. These are ye wordes of the couenaunt, which the LORDE comaunded Moses to make wt the children of Israel in the londe of the Moabites, besyde ye couenaunt which he made with them in Horeb.

2. మోషే ఇశ్రాయేలీయులనందరిని పిలిపించి వారితో ఇట్లనెనుయెహోవా మీ కన్నులయెదుట ఐగుప్తు దేశమున ఫరోకును అతని సేవకులందరికిని అతని సమస్త జనము నకును చేసినదంతయు, అనగా

2. And Moses called all Israel, and sayde vnto them: Ye haue sene all that the LORDE dyd before youre eyes in the londe of Egipte, vnto Pharao with all his seruautes, and all his londe,

3. ఆ గొప్ప శోధనలను సూచకక్రియలను మహత్కార్య ములను మీరు కన్నులార చూచితిరి.

3. the greate tentacions which thine eyes haue sene, that they were greate tokes and wonders.

4. అయినను గ్రహించు హృదయమును చూచు కన్నులను విను చెవులను యెహోవా నేటివరకు మీకిచ్చి యుండలేదు.

4. And yet vnto this daye hath not the LORDE geuen you an hert that vnderstondeth, eyes that se, & eares that heare.

5. నేను మీ దేవుడనైన యెహోవానని మీరు తెలిసికొనునట్లు నలువది సంవత్సరములు నేను మిమ్మును అరణ్యములో నడిపించితిని. మీ బట్టలు మీ ఒంటిమీద పాతగిలిపోలేదు; మీ చెప్పులు మీ కాళ్లను పాతగిలి పోలేదు.

5. He hath caused you to walke fortye yeares in the wyldernesse. Youre clothes are not waxed olde vpon you, nether is thy shue waxed olde on thy fote.

6. మీరు రొట్టె తినలేదు, ద్రాక్షారసమేగాని మద్యమేగాని త్రాగలేదని యెహోవా సెలవిచ్చు చున్నాడు.

6. Ye haue eaten no bred, and dronken no wyne, ner stronge drynke, that ye mighte knowe, that he is ye LORDE youre God.

7. మీరు ఈ చోటికి చేరినప్పుడు హెష్బోను రాజైన సీహోనును బాషాను రాజైన ఓగును యుద్ధమునకు మనమీదికి రాగా

7. And whan ye came vnto this place, Sihon the kynge of Hesbon, and Og ye kynge of Basan, came out agaynst vs vnto battayll, and we smote them,

8. మనము వారిని హతము చేసి వారి దేశ మును స్వాధీనపరచుకొని రూబేనీయులకును గాదీయుల కును మనష్షే అర్ధగోత్రపువారికిని దాని స్వాస్థ్యముగా ఇచ్చితివిు.

8. and toke their londe, and gaue it to enheritaunce vnto ye Rubenites and Gaddites, and to the halfe trybe of the Manassites.

9. కాబట్టి మీరు చేయునదంతయు చక్కగా జరుగునట్లు ఈ నిబంధన వాక్యములను అనుసరించి నడుచు కొనవలెను.

9. Kepe now therfore the wordes of this couenaunt, and do therafter, that ye maye haue vnderstondinge in all that ye do.

10. నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నీతో చెప్పిన ప్రకారము గాను నీ పితరులైన అబ్రాహాము ఇస్సాకు యాకోబులతో ప్రమాణము చేసిన ప్రకారముగాను,

10. Ye stonde this daye all before the LORDE youre God, the chefe rulers of youre trybes, youre Elders, youre officers, euery man in Israel,

11. నేడు నిన్ను తనకు స్వజనముగా నియమించుకొని తానే నీకు దేవుడైయుండు నట్లు నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నేడు నీకు నియమించు చున్న నీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా నిబంధనలోను ఆయన ప్రమాణము చేసినదానిలోను నీవు పాలుపొందుటకై ఇశ్రాయేలీయులలో ప్రతివాడు,

11. youre children, youre wyues, ye straungers that are in thine hoost, from the hewer of yi wodd vnto ye drawer of yi water:

12. అనగా మీలో ముఖ్యు లేమి, మీ గోత్రపువారేమి మీ పెద్దలేమి, మీ నాయకు లేమి మీ పిల్లలేమి, మీ భార్యలేమి,

12. that thou shuldest enter in to the couenaunt of the LORDE thy God, and in to the ooth which the LORDE thy God maketh with the this daye,

13. నీ పాళెములోనున్న పరదేశులేమి, నీ కట్టెలను నరుకువారు మొదలుకొని నీ నీళ్లు తోడువారివరకును మీరందరు నేడు మీ దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నిలిచియున్నారు.

13. that he mighte set the vp this daye to be a people vnto himself, and that he mighte be thy God, as he hath sayde vnto the, and as he sware vnto yi fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Iacob.

14. నేను మీతో మాత్రము కాదు, ఇక్కడ మనతో కూడను ఉండి, నేడు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవా సన్నిధిని నిలుచుచున్నవారి తోను

14. For I make not this couenaunt and this ooth with you onely,

15. ఇక్కడ నేడు మనతోకూడ నుండని వారితోను ఈ నిబంధనను ప్రమాణమును చేయుచున్నాను.

15. but both with you yt are here this daye, and stonde with vs before the LORDE oure God, and also with them that are not here with vs this daye.

16. మనము ఐగుప్తు దేశమందు ఎట్లు నివసించితిమో, మీరు దాటి వచ్చిన జనముల మధ్యనుండి మనమెట్లు దాటివచ్చి తిమో మీరెరుగుదురు.

16. For ye knowe how we haue dwelt in the londe of Egipte, and how we came thorow the myddes of the Heythen, whom ye passed by,

17. వారి హేయక్రియలను, కఱ్ఱతోను రాతితోను వెండితోను బంగారముతోను చేయబడినవారి విగ్రహములను మీరు చూచితిరిగదా.

17. and sawe their abhominacions and their Idols, wodd and stone, syluer and golde, which were with them:

18. ఆ జనముల దేవ తలను పూజించుటకు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాయొద్ద నుండి తొలగు హృదయముగల పురుషుడేగాని స్త్రీయేగాని కుటుంబమేగాని గోత్రమేగాని నేడు మీలో ఉండ కుండునట్లును, మరణకరమైన దుష్కృత్యమునకు అట్టి మూలమైనది మీలో ఉండకుండునట్లును, నేడు ఈ నిబం ధనను మీతో చేయుచున్నాను.

18. Lest there be amoge you man or woman, or an housholde, or a trybe, which turneth awaye his hert this daye from the LORDE oure God, to go and to serue ye goddes of these nacions: and lest there be amonge you some rote, that beareth gall & wormwodd:

19. అట్టి పనులను చేయు వాడు ఈ శాపవాక్య ములను వినునప్పుడు, మద్యముచేత దప్పి తీర్చు కొనవలెనని నేను నా హృదయ కాఠిన్యమున నడుచుచుండినను నాకు క్షేమము కలుగునని, నేను ఆశీర్వాదము నొందెదనని అనుకొనును.

19. so that though he heare the wordes of this curse, he blesse him selfe yet in his hert, and saye: Tush, it shal not be so euell. I wil walke after the meanynge of myne awne hert, that the dronken maye perishe with the thyrstie.

20. అయితే యెహోవా వానిని క్షమింపనొల్లడు; అట్టివాడు మీలోనుండినయెడల నిశ్చయముగా యెహోవా కోపమును ఓర్వమియు ఆ మనుష్యునిమీద పొగరాజును; ఈ గ్రంథములో వ్రాయ బడిన శాపములన్నియు వానికి తగులును. యెహోవా అతని పేరు ఆకాశము క్రిందనుండకుండ తుడిచివేయును.

20. Then shall not the LORDE be mercifull vnto him, but his wrath and gelousy shall smoke ouer soch a man, and all the curses that are wrytten in this boke, shall lighte vpon him: and the LORDE shal put out his name from vnder heauen,

21. ఈ ధర్మశాస్త్రగ్రంథములో వ్రాయబడిన నిబంధన శాపము లన్నిటినిబట్టి వానికి కీడు కలుగజేయుటకై యెహోవా ఇశ్రాయేలీయుల గోత్రములన్నిటిలోనుండి వాని వేరుపర చును.

21. and shall separate him vnto euell out of all the trybes of Israel, acordinge vnto all the curses of the couenaunt, that is wrytten in the boke of this lawe.

22. కాబట్టి మీ తరువాత పుట్టు మీ సంతతివారును దూరదేశమునుండి వచ్చు పరదేశులును సమస్త జనములును ఆ దేశముయొక్క తెగుళ్లను యెహోవా దానిమీదికి తెప్పించిన సంకటములను చూచి

22. So the posterities of youre childre which shal ryse vp after you, and the straungers that come out of farre countrees, shall saye (whan they se the plages of this londe, and the diseases wherwith the LORDE hath smytten it)

23. వారు, యెహోవా తన కోపోద్రేకముచేత నశింపజేసిన సొదొమ గొమొఱ్ఱా అద్మా సెబోయీములవలె ఆ సమస్త దేశమును గంధకము చేతను ఉప్పుచేతను చెడిపోయి, విత్తబడకయు దానిలో ఏదియు బుట్టకయు దానిలో ఏ కూరయు మొలవకయు ఉండుట చూచి

23. that he hath brent vp all their londe with brymstone and salt, so yt it cannot be sowne, ner is frutefull, nether groweth there eny grasse therin, Like as Sodom, Gomor, Adama and Zeboim are ouerthrowne, which the LORDE ouerthrewe in his wrath and anger.

24. యెహోవా దేని బట్టి యీ దేశమును ఇట్లు చేసెనో? యీ మహా కోపాగ్నికి హేతువేమో? అని చెప్పుకొందురు.

24. Then shall all nacions saye: Wherfore hath the LORDE done thus vnto this londe? What greate wrothfull displeasure is this?

25. మరియు వారువారి పితరుల దేవుడైన యెహోవా ఐగుప్తు దేశములోనుండి వారిని రప్పించిన తరువాత ఆయన తమతో చేసిన నిబంధనను వారు నిరాకరించిరి

25. Then shalt it be sayde: Euen because they haue forsaken the couenaunt of ye LORDE God of their fathers (which he made with them whan he broughte them out of the londe of Egipte)

26. తామెరుగని అన్యదేవతలను, ఆయన వారికి నియమింపని దేవతలను, పూజించి వాటికి నమస్క రించిరి

26. and they wete, and serued other goddes, and worshipped the, euen soch goddes as they knewe not, and whom he had not deuyded vnto them.

27. గనుక యీ గ్రంథములో వ్రాయబడిన శాపము లన్నిటిని యీ దేశముమీదికి తెప్పించుటకు దానిమీద యెహోవా కోపము రవులుకొనెను.

27. Therfore the wrath of the LORDE waxed whote ouer this londe, to brynge vpon it all the curses that are wrytten in this boke.

28. యెహోవా తన కోపోద్రేకముచేతను అత్యుగ్రతచేతను తమ దేశములో నుండి వారిని పెల్లగించి, నేడున్నట్లుగా వారిని వెళ్లగొట్టి పరదేశము పాలుచేసెను.

28. And the LORDE thrust them out of their londe wt greate wrath, indignacion & displeasoure & hath cast them into another londe, as it is come to passe this daye.

29. రహస్యములు మన దేవుడైన యెహోవాకు చెందును. అయితే మనము ఈ ధర్మ శాస్త్ర వాక్యములన్నిటి ననుసరించి నడుచుకొనునట్లు బయలుపరచబడినవి యెల్లప్పుడు మనవియు మన సంతతి వారివియునగునని చెప్పుదురు.

29. These are the secretes of the LORDE oure God, which are opened vnto vs and oure children for euer, yt we shulde do all the wordes of this lawe.
